Not guaranteed, but I reckon they have got to be favourites by quite a long way given their home form this year. And remember that the PL last year was a lot weaker than it is this year. Both Liverpool and Arsenal had shocking runs of form which they have thus far avoided this year, and I think Chelsea were a lot stronger last year. Do you think you're guaranteed to be in the top four?
You play better than us, but we have better players than you. Our manager just doesn't know his team.
Yep it was weaker, but I have to disagree, we were weaker last season than this season. First of all we have more points this season and like you said the teams above us are doing a lot better than last season. We have a strong team who aren't used to the football being played. We just need a defensive tweak and our strikers to start scoring. You really think Arsenal are favourites by a long way? We managed to beat City, we can certainly manage to beat them.
Loves living off his history. You a closet scouser on a mission? I'm a more modest man than you are and will simply respond to your comment with - we'll see son .
I dunno mate, thus far this season you've lost at home to Liverpool, Arsenal and Villa. Did you lost that many at home at all last season? And IIRC your bad run of form last year was largely due to injuries - you've almost dropped as many points so far this season with less injuries to major players. But like I said, are you 100% confident you'll have enough for the top four this season?
Nope, we're not the force we once were at home. I'll give you that. Not 100% confident, of course not but I am confident we'll finish above Liverpool and Arsenal! Not even dignifying that with a response except - 7 years
We can take Chelsea at home. We have beaten them twice in a row and even Theo Walcott had good games.
People have been predicting us to drop out of the Champions League ever since the 2006/07 season, you numpty. Give Djourou and Szczesny a thanks for me for giving away your lead to little brother and keeping us fourth and above you. You would give your left nut to have Sturridge who will send Walcott's England career to an early grave.
Mata isn't overrated, I would have loved him to of come to Arsenal. Though they're team looks like it has no depth, and not much pace in those old boys now!
The fact, Arsenal are just a point behind Chelsea should be pretty embarrassing for them. We spend nowhere near the money on transfer fees or wages as them. Not to mention us selling two of our better players and having a shocking start.
