Continued watching the first row links tonight and it went over Sir Bobby's reign at the club .. Honestly what a man and manager he was, should never of been sacked just because we finished 5th and had a bad start .. makes you proud to support a team he managed.

    Bit random i know.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew: "We won because we controlled the game in terms of what we wanted to do. We would not let them play. Physically and aerially we had an advantage and capitalised on that. We broke up their play so many times today. We beat the champions 3-0 and probably deserved that scoreline. We have had a great season so far without turning over one of the top teams. Today we had our best team out there and it showed."

So Ben Arfa isn't in is best team then

I don't think he meant the literal best XI, or else Taylor would surely be in it.

Hmm maybe reading too much into it .. hopefully

I belive he means the best team was fielded to get a result against them .. I dont think Benny was right for this game.

Why is that not the case for so many other players then? Obertan, Ameobi, Best, Ryan Taylor - All have had sustained periods of playing like utter ****, yet got picked regularly.
Ben Arfa won the game at Bolton, and has usually looked promising in most of his other appearances, yet he's barely given a look in.

Just got home from the game, it was amazing, the atmosphere was tremendous, couldn't ask for better.
Thought it was odd though, for how often Man Utd lose a game, you would think their supporters would be able to handle it, they left in droves before the end, they don't have the stomach for it. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Strange things going on in Guernsey tonight. The place is absolutely crawling with Man U fans and they are usually delighted to talk to me (or text) after our games.

I guess there must be a problem with the network because i've not received a single text or phone call and they are not responding to my concerned calls enquiring after their well being. I'm not even going to entertain the thought that they are a bunch of mopey bad losers! :emoticon-0112-wonde
