I don't like him and I want him gone but who am I. I am more concerned about Man Utd and how we perform.

Good for you. I think Carrick is a good player. Good for Utd that he's signed a contract as who would replace him in your current squad RIGHT NOW?

Stretty your the prick who thinks you know more than our manager does. You are moaning now just wait till he retires, you will have a stroke with all your moaning. You sit on here venting all your anger like it will actually change something. I really doubt our great manager cares what a stupid prat like you thinks.

I think Carrick gets a lot of un-due stick, i think the problem is everyone expects him to be this great creative midfielder who can boss games, this isn't his style although wen in form he does certainy have a great range of passing that would allow him to do so. the job he does do of breaking up opposition attacks through good positioning and sensible passes is very valuable and would really be productive given the right midfielding partner, so like Fletcher im glad he staying. Both of these guys will really benefit from the correct addition to the midfeild, i do hope we bring in a natural playmaker (as a Schole replacement) and likewise maybe a naturally left sided winger.

but we'll see how things goe in the summer, but my main point is United are stronger with Carrick than without
