Depends a lot, I suppose, on the backing band too - are the guys up to something like that?

Possibly something more laid back - Hotel California, or is that too laid back? ;)

i'm really not sure..it'll be a backing track this time...so that should be fine for anything i decide to sing. i know the entertainer sings a lot of Frank Sinatra style stuff...so Hey Big Spender would fit, but Mr H loves Hotel California lol..and it's a good singalong song....hmm...

I have changed my mobile telephone company and have had to set up Frú Ak on her Blackberry. This is difficult. The good thing is three mobile telephones now cost the price of two with the last company.

Entertainer? You mean you're not top of the bill? ;)

Big spender may be too 'samey' in that case - how about some Judith Durham of Seekers fame? Georgy Girl/I'll never find another you are good singalong ones - always popular.

:) thanks BB! It's a ladies' night for the Lodge...and Mr H is chief cook and bottle washer this year, so i have to make a speech and he wants me to sing...but the entertainer is the top of the bill, but thanks :) (and btw, i can't help laughing at the lodge, i wonder if i should put that in my speech!)

Morning all - a very windy night in bandit country and got blown around the M25, but very mild at 9C. Blimey, it's been a long week back at work!

Ohh i love that song too! Oh dear, spoilt or choice! lol..

Right now i'm not singing anything though..feeling decidedly crappy having been awake all night sneezing....this cold isn't showing signs of bogging off yet! Hmmpfh!

And...i've just looked online to see what's going on with my phone and it's only just arrived at 3...i thought it might have been back tomorrow...gutted! Hope maybe before the match on Saturday instead...but since they haven't started fixing it yet, it seems unlikely :(.

I've just realised i can talk to my laptop and it'll do what i want it to do without me lifting a finger...how clever! i'm enjoying playing with that but i'm not sure it understands me with a cold lol.

Thanks for the caramel latte Ak :)...going to try and sleep a bit today...i cancelled the only lesson i had for later, so it's all good....a day of rest, to get rid of this shocker!

Lets hope so Norway, can't be doing with that curse right now.

Morning all, still very windy round these parts (and nothing to do with that consignment of German Sausages......sorry Blackadder joke :)). Little Miss Sandy was nearly blown away when I dropped her off at school this morning. Hopefully a quiet day in work and I can get working on my service manual again. It's amazing how you can really drag out a job when it quiet.

Are you back at work yet Norway? Can't remember if it was 1 or 2 months you had to take since you hit your quota?? :emoticon-0105-wink:
