I think alot will agree, but that was the best performance of the season.

First of all, the game had everything, especially at home. It had great goals, great action, great battling, great defending and of course a great atmosphere (even though i wasn't there).

Every player (even shola to a degree) played their hearts out, everyone battled and made sure we gained the three points.

Even we got some decent refereeing decisions by Howard Webb. He had a decent game apart from the blatant pen by Ba.

Personal highlights have to be the midfield duo of Cabaye and Tiote. If there was a game they needed to be at their best, it was this and they were top class. Made the Man Utd midfielders look average.

Then there is Ba, who put in one of his best performances (even his hattricks), he worked so hard, chased down every ball and posed a threat every time he went forward. Not to mention he scored a quality goal.

And Jones OG was hilarious. Capped off a great night

All in All, a brilliant brilliant night, well done lads

Straight. No obertan, no problem. Honestly, we were just better in possession, we soaked up their pressure in the first 15-20 and since then just bossed the game pretty much. Ba is just an amazing player. and he's so chilled when you watch him walking about on the pitch, he hardly breaks a sweat and always looks friendly with everyone, even when fouled. What a character. When we were 11 v 11 at Old trafford we already bossed them, and totally dominated them today for large periods. Shola was effective. I wouldn't say he actually put in a top effort, but that's just how he is. Listen to that noise. Beautiful.

Said the Stoke game was one of the best tactical displays i've seen ever but this trumps it by some margin. Wiped the floor with them, great night.

Santon and Raylor are unsung heroes for me, Santon being fairly solid and very composed while Raylor was on fire with the short passes. You can see he's much more comfortable on the right wing, he was overlapping with Simpson brilliantly.

We looked a lot more balanced with Santon at LB and Raylor at RB, which contributed to how we played. It was a big call to leave HBA out but Pardew got his tactics spot on today.

Unbelievably good. Battle won in midfield with Cabaye and Tiote and Demba Ba was immense. Great choice on Shola from Pardew even if only for setting up the first goal.

Massive shout though to Simpson and Williamson BUT there aren't many better central defenders in the world at the moment than Fabricio Coloccini, if at all.

He is the foundation for all our best work and needs a new contract NOW!

Coleen is a slapper, she wears a wonder bra. When she's shagging Rooney, she thinks of Demba BA

I thought Willo was outstanding today. He won every ball that got thrown at him and was very good positionally. Obviously it helps when you have a world class CB next to you.

Haha disagree with the first 5 words .. changing him RM did not make us perform how we did.

Really dont agree with you saying Raylor,s short passes were classed as being on fire.. Can only presume you are being sarcastic??
