I understand that and didn't think he would be, but this is Man Utd we're talking about and we'll be very lucky if we're afforded much time on the ball so I can imagine the supply from each wing to be very limited, hope I'm wrong.

Think I'll agree with the tactics of the guy who has years of playing and managing experience. Sorry, pal.

Never ceases to amaze how many tactical geniuses there are on here. Next time the managerial position becomes vacant, go and stick your name in the hat. It seems you have the credentials

Hopefully Raylor playing against a decent left back will give him a few pointers as to where a LB should actually be on the pitch at various points throughout a game.

Annoyed that HBA wasn't brought in for Vukic, but as long as Pards brings on HBA, Vukic and or Sameobi if we need to change the game instead of ****ing Perch I'll be happy !

I'd prefer to have Raylor on the Right wing than Obertan, at least we might get something down the right now.

And before anyone says stick Ben Arfa out there, Pardew obviously doesn't see him as an out an out winger.

If there are gaps in midfield he may throw Ben Arfa on/

I'd like to make this point about HBA. Pardew has pigeon holed this player as a No.10. Pardew is not interested in playing him in any other position. So why do this, but then set your team up as a 4-4-2?!

Would Mancini do this with Silva? Would AVB do this with Mata?

Whether 4-4-2 works tonight or not, to handle a player like HBA in this way is ludicrous. He's basically totally alienated him to the bench without any chance of him starting............unless he plays him as a winger.

I feel sorry for HBA. Really do.

I agree with you here definitely. Having Raylor on the wing and two 'big men' up front coupled with the miserable tactics we've seen in recent games can only mean one thing.

Of course Raylor won't beat Evra but neither would Joey Barton, he is not there to go around his man he is there to whip a decent ball into the box if he gets half a chance to the two big lads. Would much rather have him in than Ober. Sound tactics if you ask me, hoofball yes, would I rather Ben Arfa played? Yes. But Pardew's tactics are fine with me for this game, the two big lads will cause trouble and can both hold the ball up fairly well.

That right side is going to be critical, if the lads in the middle can get Raylor in a good position to cross I fancy at least 1 goal from Raylor's delivery.

So when Steve Bruce played 4-6-0 with no strikers, it was a sound tactical decision because he had years of playing and managerial experience?

That's just a load of bullshit really. Credentials and **** like that are irrelevant when you look at the simple logic and can see the flaws.

Plus, don't underestimate the knowledge of some fans. The simple fact is that quite a few fans have probably watched more football, week-in, week-out, than Pardew has. We understand tactics and we aren't stupid.

They reckon Valencia will be going in at RB for Manure, so Jonas and Santon to get at him. Could be more of a way in, maybe even have Jonas and Raylor swap sides. could make it difficult for them.

Valencia is very capable at RB. Wish we'd signed him when he was at Wigan to rampage down our right.
