http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16399388.stm Let's see how good Spurs are now they can't play their first-choice XI: parker sandro gallas etc out. The panickers have been saying Spurs will finish ahead of us. There are 18 games to go. I thought Chelsea might start reeling Spurs in come Feb/march like last season, but maybe the tottering will start earlier now.
A couple of key injuries and I'm sure Spurs will find life a little tougher but to be fair, we've hardly had drastic injury problems and we've still strugled so i'm not so confident about 'reeling' them in just yet. Lets go on a good run of 4-5 games first.
Totsfan, HIAG, Don_Mara, Ensil in
There is still Essien and Ivanovic to return. If Cole can up his game we will be alright, added reinforcements to come as well and Torres will shine in Drogba's absence
Parker, Lennon and King are expected back for the Everton game so bad luck. Dawson's just building up fitness after a long lay off and Gallas has only played 7 games this season so we're used to playing without him. Losing Sandro again is a fairly big loss but the injuries that would cause us the most problems would be Bale and Adebayor. Bale has only missed one game this season and it showed that we needed him, whilst Adebayor missed the first 2 games and we all know what happened there.
In strikers, yes. I don't think you have anyone like Mata though so an injury to him could be as bad. Perhaps worse would be an injury to Romeu which forces Mikel to play or even a lack of injury to Luiz that means he starts!
To be honest i hope you haven't put the blinkers on us now LF, we've had good luck with injuries all season really so lets hope you aint jinxed it lol, thing that worries me is we really are lacking in midfield depth, mikels **** but he'll be off to the ACN in a week or two so our only midfielders are - Romeu,Ramires,Lampard,Meireles and Josh who never seems to get a chance, Now say two of our midfielders gets injured or one injured and one banned then we're pretty much ****ed. Seriously think AVB could do with buying another world-class midfielder this transfer window
Agree. That's why I'm not certain we'll get going til after Acon; mid-Feb time. If we are under 10 points behind Spuds we can overhaul them in March/April
As long as we get top 4 it's all good, were lacking a few players which will be bought at the end of the season, hopefully cahill makes a great impact and luiz gets a chance in midfield, and it would be nice to overhaul Spurs, still not overly sure we will though, they have looked weaker in recent matches though judging by how the goals have dried up a bit plus we still have to play them at home
Doing my honest predictions on the premier league predictor i have Spurs finishing up on 78 and us finishing up on 75 ( we had the better goal difference though mainly because i put 10-0 in for our qpr match
3rd or 4th, quarter/semi-final run in CL, good fa cup run and a absoulete battering of QPR will be perfect this season haha
QPR are you rivals? Like Arsenal for Spurs? Manchester United for Manchester City? Barcelona for Real Madrid? Liverpool for Manchester United? your finding your level it seems
Oh god, the wums back from nursery again i see, can't you stay over-night at nursery for a few nights?
Here we go again *yawns* time to shoot another yid down. Number 1. You haven't won a trophy in 4 years Number 2. Even that was the carling cup Number 3. You've finished below us for the past 14 seasons Number 4. Your logo is a chicken standing on a ****ing football Number 5. You've never won the premier league Number 6. You haven't finished in the top two of the league in 49years Number 7. You couldn't even make it past the Europa League group-stage t his season Number 8. Your picture looks like it's been drawn by a 3 year old so your either a dumbass baby or gay and taking into account your a tottenham fan i'd say your gay and you have the mindset of a 3 year old Number 9. The QPR rivalry intensified this season, our football rivals are the big guns mainly because we've been one of the most dominant teams in England this century Number 10.
