It's understood saints first bid 500k plus punch and were told to double their offer which they now have.

Sky sports news as in the tv? Or a web article. Also if it is tv how did they word it? "southampton are rumoured to have bid 1m and jason puncheon blackpool are undecided" Or "it has been confirmed..."

 

I will ask the people who have posted about it on Facebook and find out!

Holloway interview on sky text says he's not going anywhere, even to a premier side. Although I appreciate that managers say this all the time and it ultimately means nothing.

I have been given this link although nothing about Phillips on the whole story but people on Twitter saying Punch will be used as the bait in the deal.

And Cortese always keeps all negotiating secret..... dare we dream?

Having looked what Holloway has said about him I reckon nearer 3 million and Punch to be honest!.

If £1m + Punch is true then it's a brilliant deal. Hopefully they won't try to bleed us dry.

 

We seem to be assuming( IF this is true ) That 1 Million is all it will cost , there would be all sorts of extras if we got promoted IMHO .

The more I read into the story the more unlikely it seems, However I can't resist a good rumour and if it was to come true I would have a very smug grin on my boatrace!

 

These deals are reportedly picking up pace now, the Lee deal has basically gone through.

If Stephen Kelly signs from Fulham, it WILL be on loan. Other clubs interested in him though, including Wigan, Pompey and Norwich. (Rumours)

Saints apparently contacted the Hearts board this morning and made an enquiry about Driver. They would consider selling at the right price. (loads of tweets on twatter from Scotland apparently)

If these are true, then Nigel's looking for the players that we thought we needed which would be good.

 

Hollaway would rather eat a dead badger than sell us (key word) a player he rates so highly.
Although, its a pleasant rumour so keep them coming!
