Apologies if I came across a bit heavy. However, it was an opportunity to set the lines straight on precisely how you can change mods if needs be.

As for me, it's all a bit frought atm what with keeping us organised - and sorting a multitude of post holiday stuff in me day job. I hate it when my in-boxes start spilling over into my coffee bucket!!

...and not getting the time to moan and groan about our team's performance - just to annoy the rose tints!!

Tell you what - seeing Willy, Matt and TIMK's comments above makes all the hassle really worthwhile.

Nice to be appreciated sometimes innit?!!

Yes, spitting feathers here Willy!!!! Or, not.

You know you're appreciated anyway Brix, you don't need us to tell you :)

This is all turning into a bit of a Brixton love-in now, so i'll let it rest before the marriage proposals begin!

Thank you to all our moderators - past and present. It's a thankless task (usually) :)

This may have been covered elsewhere (I’ve still not read through all the threads while I was away, and let’s face it I’m not going to now) but it is worth baring in mind that Northolt performed two separate and distinct functions on this forum. Firstly as a mod, a role which I’m sure that the Hawkster will admirably fulfil, but secondly as a provider of information gleaned from around the internet. In some ways this is the role that will be harder to replace and therefore we should all shoulder some of the responsibility to do so. It would be unfair and unrealistic to expect Brixton and Goldhawk to fill that void, it is certainly not part of the moderator’s function. I’m not around these parts as much as I used to be, but I will endeavour to do my share, hopefully others will do likewise.

Spot on Roller. In terms of keeping up with news and information on QPR from the wonderful world of the internet we'll all need to chip-in. I've actually got a top-tip for any would-be posters of news, which is to type in "QPR news now" into google. On the first result which comes up you'll find the News Now website, which provides contantly update links to anything QPR related which has been posted to anywhere on the worldwide web in the last 15 mins, 30 mins, 1 hour 2 hours etc. It's well handy for keeping on top of any news and/or rumours pertaining to our beloved hoops! <ok>

Noted. Thanks TIMK. I'll include that info in a later thread inviting news posts.
