Golden, we played with a lot more skill and flair last season even when losing! we were playing and blooding a load of the kids , It was great seeing them lay their claim, my fav moment of that season was funnily enough at Pride park on the wrong end of a battering , but Mattys Goal was great I like to see at least a bit of skill and quality at a footy match ! I understand the need for the ugly side and grinding things out ,dont get me wrong ,I just dont enjoy it as much ! One of the best academys in the land that the prem is trying to sabotage , producing a load of quality young men that the prem can now steal for a pittance! Now Kites is gone (he was the quality flair player) ,we have able replacements in house ,but dont use them for whatever reason , I dont enoy that much either! Sorry for the Meldrew rant but just saying how I see it and how I feel!
wont win anything with what we have either (I assume you talking about winning a cup or promotion!! 04 Jan 2012 14:49:43 Cardiff boss Malky Mackay poised to make triple-swoop for Watford youngsters Connor Smith, Sean Murray and Matt Whichelow, as he feels that they would be hot prospects for the future and he worked with them at Watford. I think they would have a better future away from the Vic at the present time!
I wouldn't be against Whichelow going. Not because he's any less of a talent than the others, but because Dyche doesn't seem to rate him and I still think he could attract respectable money. Smith and Murray are must-keeps at this point in time.
I don't have an issue with that Norway. We all want to see good football. But again I think our start has potentially tainted your view, as I have thoroughly enjoyed the last few home games. As I said before, it is fine margins...
certainly fine margins that cost our neighbours league status ! still as long as there are 3 worse teams than us I suppose ! although now the quality players have gone back to parent clubs and Marv our only consistent goalscorer might be on his way, who are those 3 worst teams? Will certainly be an interesting month!
Also Britt and Connor Smith extend loans at wealdstone http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2565291,00.html
Wilson explaining a bit more about loans and how they work; http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2566532,00.html Kightly/Nos would have to be either a permanent signing, or one that lasts until the end of the season with no recall clause. Not sure McCarthy would go for the latter, while hopefully both options might be realistic for Nos, if he is at the right price!

It is making it easy for me though , wonder where Brentford are playing on Feb 11 least I can go and see some of our "prospects" perhaps a brentford v yeovil game could be arranged the winners to take on the mighty stones!
