I've been off these boards for a while during the holidays and now I decide to come back and it seems like the Leicester board are in some sort of trolling war with Hull. What has happened to cause this? - we used to be on alright terms and had a good bit of banter going but it has now turned hostile with random posts appearing from Hull fans how **** we and Nigel Pearson are and us posting how **** and dull Hull are. I thought we had gotten over all our agro about Pearson moving and now it has come up again - sure Pearson has moved from Hull back to Leicester after prolonged negotiations but but the Hull board released a statement saying that the club got a good deal and you now have got one of your legends in Barmby in charge and are doing well so why is there still flak? Sure we had a bid for Stewart turned down - it was the first bid so so of course it is low as that is how negotiations work - but it provoked a rather funny reaction from Adam Pearson who said his bit and that should be the end of that. Just because Sven spent a lot of money doesn't mean Nigel will - maybe we come up with a higher bid after that, maybe we don't. That is the end of that. Enough with the hostilities - I'm not saying that either of us is in the right or wrong as there has been a lots of crap from both ends but this is going the way of what happened with the Leeds lot where they started posting racist crap on our boards and it only stopped when people got banned. Lets all be grown ups and make peace if that is ok?
Well said. Maybe a bit of it was due to Christmas 'cheer'. We could set a good example to the owners/staff of both clubs by all getting along amicably on here!
I believe it was probably Leicester fans that begun it, posting taunts at Hull about Pearson returning, but it was Hull fans which made it a 'troll war', posting random crap on our board, we was having a bit of banter at the start but it escalated.
I don't think anything nasty has been going on. One thread was about the Stewart bid and Adam Pearson's subsequent comments which is fair enough because we're gonna want to discuss that and so are Hull fans & then another, more provocative, thread was made which did cause a bit of debate but most of it was just banter. It's mainly only one Hull fan coming on here anyway (no prizes for guessing who) but I don't mind fans from other clubs coming here as long as they're sensible and keep the chat football related because you can have some decent discussions then.
Right as this is on both boards and can turn into a giant slanging match I will take it down as soon as it goes off the rails like every other thread
I do my best to keep post relevant, but I can't seem to be able to post anything on the Leicester board without being told I'm a liar/racist/skateboard rider(delete as applicable), something that doesn't happen on any other club's board. I think maybe I cause an allergic reaction with people from the East Midlands.
This is exactly the problem - ScoreformyPleasure is already suggesting that Hull fans are 90% to blame, and GS1884, if we do post something ordinary on your board, I'm sure a few would respond respectably but the rest would either say that we're wumming and start it off again or simply tell us to **** off. As much as I'd like it all to finally come to an end I don't see it happening, chances are only three quarters of the people that end up commenting on this particular thread will be reasonable about it.

When i saw that there were 4 threads about Hull on the Leicester forum, i was like Horsham Tiger is a great not606 poster on our forums imo, he discusses the topic issues rather than reply to the previous babble of off topic comments posted by both sets of fans. OLM starts well, but then drifts into idle innane comments, not totally his fault, it takes 2 to tango.
You have my word that if my posts were just taken in the manner they were meant, none of them would drift off track. I can't see it happening though.
would appear that lesta fans are jealous of Hulls young and exciting team not to mention league position. lesta are just a collective bunch of money mercenaries who dont care a jot about anything other than there pay checks. look. NP has just allowed his best player (talent wise) Beckford to leave. poor old nige has bitten off more than he can chew.
It cant backfire in Jan only in May Yes we have a few mercenary which Nigel is getting rid of but he had the same problem with you when he went there. Jimmy Bullard for example. Beckford is crap and not a patch on David Nugent

Well said. I'm bored senseless of this now. I won't be on the Leicester board from now on unless it's relevant and topical. There are one or two on both sides who should, perhaps, do likewise.
