Thieving bastards First they give each EPL team £1 billion and then try to pump me up the wrong'un. My satellite dish was on the roof of my block of flats until yesterday. In the wind it's came loose and is currently hanging on by the cables above the door to the block. They said £65 for someone to come out, but maybe more because it would be working at heights, and it wouldn't be for a few weeks. Guess I'll be up on the roof tonight with my hi vis jacket and hardhat. I'm very safety conscious.
Guy next to me in work just called them and they said the earliest they could send an engineer out to fix his dish was the 16th (and he pays an extra £8 a month "warranty").
For some reason Sky always say things will take 2 weeks, everything is 2 weeks with those ****s. I needed a new Sky+ box, it was working but wasn't recording which is the whole point of it and it took the ****s 2 weeks to come out with a new box and install it all
I've used that one a few times recently. Soon they'll tell me to **** off As for the warranty, I've had 2 missed calls today from Sky Protect. What were the chances of that? As soon as I tell them the dish is ****ed they try to get me to take insurance. I might tell them it's a health and safety hazard because it could drop on someone, might speed them up a bit.
Id sooner **** sky off and use virgin network ,greedy bastards my landlord wants £80 quid for him to get sky put on his house ,sky will fit it for £20 ,so im stuck with the digital at the moment ,the day i pay £80 for a sky dish is the day i dont have a hole in my arse
That's the answer. Keep a record of all your conversations with them, cut the cables letting the dish fall to the ground when no ****s looking and make out it hit you in the back. To make it real call an ambulance and get checked out at A & E. Tell them your backs killing and then appoint a no win no fee solicitor to sue the ****s. compo
The flaw in your otherwise decent plan. Cleanly cut cables aren't going to fool Stevie Wonder never mind an insurance claim.
do they now ,small print ,and because its a new house the idiot wants it fitted properly not wires everywhere
**** that wind was brutal. couldnt watch the old firm in my house cos of it. what a game that was eh? whole of the UK watching too
My poor mammy's flat roof blow off her house, £15k to fix it, but not until the loss-adjuster comes out. I was up on her roof yesterday with the Ronseal, trying to stop the water ingress, got absolutely drenched by the rain and gusts of wind. Brutal.
need more than ronseal pal ,insurers take the piss aswell ,this wind has taken its toll a wagon in the paper has had its trailers roof took off
Skylight got blown out at my grans flat and part of the roof came off. She's top floor and got water coming in her bedroom. I went up on xmas eve and put in a tarpaulin etc. That got taken away yesterday. Some guy from the factors came out and said they would give her £200 to get the roof fixed Other than my sky dish I think my flat is fine. Seen some funny pictures from around East Kilbride, like a trampoline stuck up a 30 foot tree
