No, this isnt a plea for a Fulham ticket - but then again, if anyone wants to oblige .....!!! I put this on another thread , but thought it was significant to start one. I phoned the ticket office yesterday to ask if there were any returns for the Fulham game, only to be told that there a (long) shortlist. I got the impression that the club was keeping a shortlist in the hope that maybe Fulham might be able to release more tickets. Also, of some concern ( although maybe its not something i should voice my concerns about, as i wont be going), is that we have only sold 459 out of our 5,500 allocation for the Sheff Wed game. I know its tough times financially, but i would have thought that the more important game is def the Sheff game. Lets hope for an encouraging result v Fulham which might galvanise more people to go to Sheffield.
Those Sheff Weds figures haven't really changed since they first went on sale either. I echo about it being a bad month, but you know if they were coming to the Valley they would easily bring over a thousand. Lets hope we can shift another 500. Minimum.
Hillsborough isn't exactly the easiest Stadium to go to. I went last Season, and we had to take a cab from the train station. Still undecided about going this season. I'd rather save the pennies and go to Carlisle. Always wanted to go there, and this'll probably be the last chance we get.
I'd say people are waiting until payday for this one. Tricky time of year to be shifting over 1000 tickets. I'll be getting a few tickets for it in the next week or so.
Same for me WW - I can't commit to going until I can determine whether that means living on crisps for the rest of the month...
