On evidence offered, a jury handed in a guilty verdict. Sometimes juries get it wrong, and they may have here, but what option do we have but to stick with the system. I personally am prepared to believe that justice was done. If we leave the guilt or innocence of those on trial, to public debate, then a **** load of guilty people would be turned free. The proof is on this tread. Thank God we have a jury system.

They argued this successfully. Therefore this was the first time this case had been heard in this way. This was what the prosecution had to prove to the jury to secure the conviction. They did that. I don't think this conviction is any way unreliable. I am annoyed with myself for not keeping it simple in regards to the admissibility of the video footage. Of course it is evidence for the things I suggested, even though it was not ever used as such, legally, it could be used to demonstrate this and for that reason it would be admissible. On a more simple level, those convicted of a violent, racist crime should necessarily have to be shown to be violent racists. Nobody could dismiss this as being irrelevant.

Just heard that they'll get sentenced as juveniles as they were under 18 at the time of the murder. I hope that doesn't mean too much leniency.
