Does anybody actually know why? easing through league 1 in 1st place and just four league defeats, the following season losing heroicly in the play offs on penalties and building a young, confident squad, with just five home defeats in 46, with a win percentage of 56, and we let him go. At Hull, in a far better position than what Leicester was in, suceeded in turning Hull into a mid table Championship team, and he turned us into Promotion contenders, yet the mid table team shown allegiance to him, and were defiant on him leaving, but we would not do anything to make him feel welcome, I do not know why we let him go for, if we get promoted, he will be a Leicester legend, did I also mention the highest win percentage boasted by in Leicester manager in history, don't we love changing managers.
I understand there was bitterness between Pearson, Mandaric and Lee Hoos. They took the opportunity of the new owners coming in to get rid, assuming they (the new owners) would want a manager with more of an international flavour. Their man...Paolo Sousa!
Pearson has already stated because he felt pushed out by Mandaric and he didnt get on with Lee Hoos I thought it was partly the King Power wanted a bigger name manager (Paulo Sousa) but if that was true why would they go back in for Nigel?
My guess is that Mandaric made the decision for the Raksriaksorns. I think Mandy felt that the club would be a better state to buy it with a bigger name as a manager.
the new owners wanted a big name and attractie football however, they have now learnt that is not how you get out the division
Because AKCJ said Pearson was boring and useless and Sven would walk away with the league , strange how he changed his mind ......tosser that he is ....
