Heard a bloke at Barnsley game telling his mates we were on verge of signing an American kid called Robbie Rogers, but Bates wouldnt sanction £8k pw wages. Just been on Wickpedia, & he looks quite a good prospect, free agent too. Also says he is on verge of siging for us following a successful trial! Lets hope A) he is as good as he sounds & B) Wickpedia have got it right too.
I reckon we were going in for him before the **** really hit the fan with the Barnsley defeat and we've ditched Rogers, Bates has given Grayson a bit more funding and we've gone for Townsend. Rogers is apparently a mainly left-sided player like Townsend so it doesn't make huge sense to bring him in now.
Don't need him. Have Snodgrass, Townsend, Sam, Pugh and Nunez could play there in an emergency. CB and CM are top priority now.
I tend to agree with ACFE. Our priorities have to be a RB, CM, & possibly a CB is Lees/Bruce isn't the final answer on that question. We could also do with moving a number of players on, or loaning out a number of players for Grayson to see whether some really do have a future at Leeds or not.

Delph coming back would be interesting. Doubt it though, he seems to be too regular in the current Villa set up.
Thats what I said but they are adament we are trying to get him on loan, This suggests Howson could be out for a lot longer than we think
