The money the Royal Family pays it with is from the country's natural resources so if more power were to go to the people then it can still be paid for out of the country's oil and gas revenues.

Having an F1 race in such a small country as Bahrain gives it a global image.

No not after Abu Dhabi, both of them are boringpieces of ****. Go to the TopGearTestTrack. :p No it really doesnt deserve a spot. Even though the only multiple winners of that race are from Ferrari, i'm not bothered its a waste of a weekend. The only exciting thing ever in that track was Alonso vs Schumacher 06

This would result in Brazil being moved a week back - and Brazil already said they weren't going to reschedule.

I would to see Bahrain GP this year because traditionally Alonso and Massa do well at Bahrain, and the track design means downforce isn't as important.

I know Vettel got pole last year at Bahrain, but I think the F10 was the faster car. If you think, Massa was outqualified by a tenth, and Alonso made a mistake on his lap. We know Alonso destroyed Massa throughout the season, so in that sense Alonso should have pole - and then also in the race Alonso was just cruising and waiting for the right moment to attack Vettel.

No, I don't think it is a good race. Nothing to do with the unrest, it should just be forgotten! The track is boring, there is no atmosphere. Last year's race was a procession that was only changed because of Vettel's engine troubles. Get rid!

Absolutely not. It's a poor track, a poor spectacle and a morally destitute nation. Bahrain had their time and date to hold a race, and they've cocked it up, just as they did the domestic and civil situation. Now they have to deal with the consequences in all aspects of their society, including sporting events.

Personally, I hope Formula 1 never goes back there. It would be a better season for Bahrain being absent.

On the radio tonight Bernie said it would be too hot in August with temperature reaching 40 degrees, imagine the track temperature?
