Sympathies mate the way women use kids as pawns is truly shocking ! when you break up they say I`ll never stop you seeing your son , then as soon as they get a boyfriend things get bloody difficult! At least your footy club doesnt dump on you in that kind of way ;)

...How do you get a hardrive out of a laptop?! Mine died in September (wouldn't turn on either) and I've been putting off unscrewing things incase I destroy the hard drive. Nothing on the bottom indicates where the HD would be.

    Hi Betty!

It depends on the make of your laptop, and also what the problem is. If it's not starting at all (as in no sound or lights coming on), then it's probably the power supply. If it starts but there's an error, there could be loads of problems...

To take the HD out you generally have to unscrew the back/bottom of the laptop, then depending on the make of the laptop either undo more screws or take a cover off to find it. It's not meant to be done easily, laptop makers design them dodgily so that you need to buy new ones as often as possible...

If anyone ever has any puter issues just give me a shout! Always happy to help! <ok>

Not a huge deal apart from having to cancel the flight as youngest wasn't coming anyway as he's not too keen on football - as he's got AS the crowds bother him. You'll still get to see eldest at Forest. As for your last point, try telling that to a Darlo fan.

    Well done red!

Still no luck with the laptop unfortunately, just have to hope that the freepchelp guys can help me out as I cannot afford to buy a new one and probably can't afford the repairs either. Maybe this is a hint to save instead of spend and get a job!

Bummer! Sorry to hear that Barry :(

I had a peek, but the problem is if you post on the fb app it uses your fb name and not your not606 name, so if you're after being anonymous, don't bother ;)

Thanks for that Toby, good to know! :)

Happy for you Red :)...just stop there now, you've done very well ;)

Morning all - a brightish morning in West West London and the wind is dying down at last.

Little Miss W_Y is working at a very well known Saturday morning football show this week and yesterday was her first day. One of the ghopher jobs she had to do was clear up a load of tapes they had recently used and she had a real laugh at the title of one of them - "Taxi for Loach"....you can probably guess the show!

Morning all, still quite windy here in eastern bandit country.

Make sure you wrap up warm H, you need to get rid of that cold ASAP otherwise it will hang around for weeks :(.

Good to hear from you Frenchie, missed your updates on the match thread this week. I don't get to listen to the games that often (normally shopping :( ) so your match thread updates are always appreciated.

Góðan daginn til allra. Cappuccino, coffee, tea donuts and fruit are on the bar.

I am late, some clever person asked fro a meeting at kl8:00 and I am returned. Meetings and me are not good friends.
