Well now he's admitted using racially abusive language I feel much better about calling him a racist.

Having pre-judged him immediately based on what a scummy character is I feel most relieved that the FA and LFC have come to the same conclusion.

Cheating, diving, biting, swearing, lying, racist git.

    Quite a resume he has.

Except they haven't actually done that.

It was probably UEFA's fault anyway.

SKY, where does this sit with you now? I'd have thought now he is clearly bang to rights you'd want the **** out of the club?

It's a tough one to be honest Ruff, the more I've read about it the more confused I've become.

At the end of the day you can't call someone a negro in this country and get away with it. If I called someone a negro in the street I'm looking to get a slap, if I call someone a negro at work I'm getting the sack. At the end of the day footballers shouldn't have a license to do it, and ignorance is NO excuse.

I find myself torn to be honest. I don't think Suarez is a 'racist' but I do think he's ****ing daft and ****ed up big time.

To answer your question, I'm in two minds. If he goes, I'm not bothered. If he stays I wont be buying my son his kit! But I'll still want him to play well.

It's a tough one, and you know me I'll tell you honestly how I feel. At this time my feelings are best described as 'unsure'.

Understandable that. I think he should learn from this, I hope so. Liverpool as a club definitely should as the shirts/gung ho approach to the 'definite' appeal was a mistake and I think a lot of sympathy went with it. Once the report came out they never stood much chance of winning.

Interestingly, if different, there's a Panorama special on right now about the Steven Lawrence guilty verdict but I guess you'll be watching the second half.

Funnily enough I was living 5 minutes walk from the bus stop it happened at, when it happened!

i wouldn't have had a problem if he'd just apologised and claimed it was a heat of the moment thing, accepted his probably lesser ban and maybe tried to use the ignorance thing to lessen the ban. What is awful was the t-shirts after he was found guilty (not before) and that awful statement from the club. As well as the constant 'Evra's done this before' **** that just isn't true, and the fact that these (not all btw, probably not even most) liverpool fans suddenly believe that Suarez is innocent just because he plays for Liverpool. if someone did it to Glen Johnson they would have gone ape-****!

This also sums up what has left a bad taste in my mouth about the whole affair -> http://twitter.com/StanCollymore#/favorites

More likely no new evidence or arguments they can make. You can only appeal if you have a new argument to make, and now Suarez has admitted saying "negro", that he knows it could be interpreted in an offensive way by someone in England, and that he wasn't trying to defuse the situation as he originally claimed, LFC really have nothing else they can say in his defence.

Definitely agree with this. Problem is, he' kept claiming he didn't say anything offensive in the heat of the moment, and that Kuyt, Commoli, Dalglish and Evra had all just misinterpreted what he said. If he tried to go back now and say that he did say something offensive, it's going to seem pretty transparent to any appeals panel. I think he's just going to have to live and learn, like Evra did with his four match ban in 2008.

Please let his first game back be against United, would make for quite the heated encounter.

    Getting tired of victimhood complex.

Liverpool FC and Dalglish have disgraced themselves in the Suarez race row. They play victim card even when they're in the wrong.

But as usual it's not the bin dippers fault

    It's the Belgian Architects' fault.
    It's the police's fault.
    It's The SUN's fault.
    It's Fergie's fault.
    It's Evra's fault.

Liverpool FC and its fans are the common denominator in all those fiascos and yet it's always someone's else's fault.

I am not a huge fan of Thatcher for the most part but I really wish she had gone ahead with the plan to decommission Liverpool as a city and let it sink into oblivion.

LeBron James must be informed so that he may invest his money somewhere where the klan is not involved.
