    As I said from the moment O'neill was appointed (previous posts there for all to see) Sunderland will do well and rise with him in charge, and I still think they will be above us by the end of the season.

    Wigan have been dominating them throughout. Had the the majority of the possession and chances and hit the post twice. Sunderland were awarded freekick for no apparent reason then Gardner hit the ball, the wind took it and it changed the direction completely and instead of going straight like he originally hit it, it curved massively into the corner. Great goal, one of the best I've seen in a while but it was 100% down to the wind. Wouldn't of happened in normal conditions.
