Makes perfect sense for Suarez to start his ban tonight, but with no Gerrard and no Bellamy, you're looking at Liverpool (best defence in the league) defending for 60 mins and then hoping for a similar Gerrard cameo to friday night.

Why do you think it's a good time for the Suarez ban to start mate? Just curious...

Yaya Toure will have a field day against that midfield

He'll use two games of his ban on carling cup rather than the prem, which would have been the case had we appealed and got a reply in feb

and ideally he'll be back for the Spurs and united games. You'd like to think that we could win all the non-Man City matches without him, providing that Stevie G doesn't get injured again

He's frightening. I can't recall seeing a central midfielder with as much power, pace and skill as him. Closest thing to Gerrard (in his pomp) the Prem has seen imo

Think you underestimate Yaya he does have pace just looks sluggish when not on the ball, once he has it and runs at defences it takes a lot to stop him!

With the thought of Gerrard starting, I was cautiously optmistic. Now I'm just hoping we're still in the game by the time he comes on <yikes>

Not too confident tonight. We'll probably only win by 1 or 2.

Not many attacking options on the bench, except Johnson.
