Well since Tash has sadly left us we have no-one to make any more 'jizz' formations however here's my attempt dedicated to Tash

    ----------Krul
    Simmo Willo Colo Santon
    Guti Cabaye Tiote Ferguson
    ----------HBA
    -----------Ba

Back 5 explains itself really, Ferguson in for Obertan due to his poor performances recently, HBA in because his best performances have been against the biggest teams.

The only question is whether Ben Arfa starts or not. I'm going to be really unpredictable and say what I say every week, he has to.

    x2.

Starting Fergie isnt a good idea.

First start of the season for young Shane against Manure? Nuts.

Ben Arfa will not start and to be honest even if he does he'll be subbed so fast Pardew will get finger burn if he doesn't light it up.

I hope Pardew gives up his stubborn approach and starts Benny.

But he wont, he'll play the more physical Best up front with Uniteds defense like it is atm.

I'd be happier to see Santon start also, the only problem is Jonas has forgotten how to attack now.

Starting the useless Oberflan vs Man Utd is nuts... They're vulnerable, but you need all your most gifted players on the pitch... Unfortunately Oberflan is terrible, and his continued inclusion flies in the face of the "form" argument Obertan's most staunch fans could come up with.

I very much suspect he will play despite his gammy toe however, and he'll be running around doing nothing vaguely of help for another 70+ minutes... Woo

    Yep <ok>

As frustrating as Obertan is to watch at the moment, I'd still like him to start. He might even want to put in a good performance against his old club? Really hope Ben Arfa starts as well.

    I agree Obertan is ****e.

But he has been starting all season, put in a few assists & knows United. He may also be quite eager to stick it to Manure.

Inexperienced Ferguson hasnt appeared all season, so lets chuck him in against United right? Weak team or not, ours on paper is weaker atm.

Again, I do agree that bobblehead IS in fact, ****e.

It will be the same team that played against Liverpool, but Benny in for Vuckic.

I think you've missed my point if you think I'd shove Ferguson in. Admittedly, I'd have Ferguson over Obertan, but I'd venture for a different formation entirely, not starting either Ferguson or Obertan.

I can't outline it here for all to criticise, mainly because it is so complex and reliant on "sexy-football" that it would swell my head to parameters of that of the creatures of Obertan's home planet, but it involves Ben Arfa as a free agent roaming around like a demented panther, chasing all the juicy morsels he could down with ease...

In essence, it may look a bit like this:

    ------------------------Krul----------

    -------------Simp-Willo-Colo-Santon
    ---Raylor------------------------------------
    -----------------------Tiote--------------Jonas
    -----------------------------Cabaye----------
    ----------------------Arfa
    ----------------------Ba

Think we should play Ryan Taylor, Ferguson and Ben Arfa, though think the only change will see Best return.

Lots of people have been saying swap Obertan straight out with Fergie so I assumed thats where you were going with the post about Obertan.

Dont get your formation, Evra will have a field day with Raylor

I hope we can get something from this one though.

    Yep, this.

Also, to whoever said, starting Ferguson is not nuts; it just makes more sense to stick with this if Obertan is fit.

Nuts maybe to strong of a word.

But Obertan should start over Fergie against Manure without doubt.

    Right ok, criticism rebuttal 1:

Parallel? Santon and Raylor? What? Santon is playing as LB in this situation, while Raylor is WBR.

Raylor and Simpson, between them, counter the threat down the Man Utd left together, and whilst in attack Raylor sits a deep MR slot to whip in balls with comfort. His mandate is not to roam forward with pace, as he has none, but he can cross.

Jonas plays LM as usual, with full permission to maraud down the left and help out Santon because he can cover more ground than Raylor.

Cabaye sits infront of Tiote because in this instance Cabaye is given more inclination to rush in and harrass the CM (a weak-point of Man Utd at present), whereas Tiote sits back and picks up the loose ball or provides a second midfield defence.

Arfa, meanwhile is everywhere. His position is not restricted, but his main focus areas are supporting Jonas and providing Raylor and Simpson with a ball to stretch the Man Utd DL.
