They can have SSL, But i think the only way we are going to get rid of SSL is on loan as his wages are too high for someone to buy him
Stop right there. Rumours about us are massively out of proportion. Take a recent case, the rumour was that Leicester bid 7m for Stewart and chester when infact we bid 1m for Stewart Why would Sven offer him a 20kp/w contract to sit on the bench? He'd have had to tell the owners his plans and they wouldn't have agreed. There wasn't prem interest and there was little in the division. I doubt he's much over 7-8kp/w
It wouldnt surprise me if the rumours are right considering some of the wages we are paying out. Our wage bill is massive and Sven didnt have a clue how to use the finance's. At time he had tunnel vision when he was after a player and sometimes he would offer stupid amounts of money to get them instead of looking elsewhere. Once Bristol turned down the offer of 3.25M we should of went elsewhere right there not carried on and offered around 9M

Yeah but SSL came vitually straight away with next to no competition. Sven wouldn't have paid him 20k p/w i'm sure of it.
We could get someone in alot better then King for that price. The only thing what was keeping King in the team was his goals and they have dried up massively over the past year.
I don't think SSL was ever signed to be a first teamer, Mills cost £5m and Bamba was one of last season's success stories. So I doubt he is on £20k.
Weather he is on 20K or not he has been sulking all season saying he needs to be in the team etc and he wants go out on loan. Surely he knew when he signed he would have to compete for a place, and when he did get a chance against Bristol he stuffed up big time
Oh, the guys a moaning prick and needs to be shipped out ASAP. But lower wages will make up more attractive to smaller clubs.
The things is now if he is on 20K no one is going to be stupid enough to match that and SSL might turn around and say no im not going and run down his contract. Just look at Carlos Tevez, he is sitting on the massive contract refusing to play and there isnt a lot Man City can do about it
Bit different. I wouldn't be surprised if Leicester terminate Shaun's contract, he's stepped out of line big time. Man City can't terminate the contract of someone as valuable as Tevez, regardless of the money they have.
