every single one of you. I'm personally ashamed of any Saints fan who slags him off today. How ****ing dare you.
Why? His lack of discipline cost us the game today, irrespective of how great he has been for us why should he not be criticised for loosing his cool. If the sending off was unfair then fair enough but from where I was sat it looked like he lost his cool and no matter who you are thats not acceptable. I'm not saying hes not a legend in the making but as a professional he should know not to get drawn in.
Maybe it was the disallowed Lala goal that cost us the game, there seems to be much disagreement whether the sending off was right or wrong, doesn't matter now, no way anything will change.
Yh fair enough. My point was more that just because a player is doing well doesnt mean you cant criticise him for doing something stupid. To say something like 'lambert is sh*t' because of it would be ridicolous though.
Well said. This is the only post I'll make about the game today but I have to agree with this entirely. Lambert has done so much for the team and won us so many that one sending off (right or wrong) should be nothing to turn people against him.
Lambert is central to our team and lost his rag once. People climb over him every game and he gets little protection because he's a big guy. He'll feel pretty sick himself this morning, so no need for anyone else to criticise him.

Without the goals Lambo has scored, I personally do not think we would be sitting where we are at the moment. I can't see how people can be blaming him for us losing. We are a team not a 1 man show, i'm not suprised he got frustrated, you look at the games he is being near enough wrestled to the ground by defenders and the ref does nothing about it. Nobody is perfect first red card of career says it all really. In all honesty I think his red card is a blessing in disguise, we have 14 days off for him to rest up. I would think we would appeal his red card (maybe reduced to 1 match ban) so another week for him to rest up if 3 we deal with it. Might show the rest of the team we can't always rely on him and some have to step up to show this. (what if he is injured, is that it people going to throw in getting promotion?) Also we have been due a blip, lets face it if asked at start of the season where would you be happy with postion wise in the league come 2012 I think most would have said 8th-10th (maybe playoffs). Lets see what NA & NC do in the Jan transfer window and look on to the next game....
CBK for PM. I thought Rickie was going to thump the Brissle City CB on Friday the way he kept wrestling him.
Well, if you have it, the match is on Saints Player and looking at the Lambert incident, it doesn't look good, you can see Rickie being hauled down in a rugby tackle, you can see the Brighton player preventing him from getting up, but there is definitely an arm waving but what you cannot make out is whether there was any contact or if so how much force there was behind it, in mitigation, Rickies leg is trapped under the Brighton player and it could be the momentum of extracting that leg that created the swing of the arm, one thing for sure the acting was Oscar class and not a mark on the players face, the two things don't add up. The Greer sending off is not clear thanks to shoddy camera work, I cannot say whether his action was intentional or not, only Greer would know that.
http://p.twimg.com/AiLe-O8CQAAYMkv.jpg I can only assume Rickie thought he was still in the Baddesly Arms. I think this shows there was contact and that's all that's needed to get red these days. It's a pity that when Rickie realised he was going off he didn't go for broke and give El-Abd something to roll around in agony for.
