Singing about Billy Sharp's son. Utter classless.

 

That's terrrible behaviour but every team has stupid fan's and im sure most Barnsley fan's would be disgusted by it.

Makes me sad that a group of people can stoop so low, I take it Billy was on the pitch at the time? Whether he was or not it is inexcusable. Because of a small minority I think the club should be punished for it. Play behind closed doors or something.

 

Agree. But did not Liverpool fans sing songs about Lee Carsley's son having Down's?

 

I don't remember anything about this, but if you have some evidence or proof of it happening I would like to see it as I can't remember it myself.

 

I'm sure it's not all their fans, but those involved are scum.

Sadly football attracts scum as well as decent people.

 

Then if true the individuals involved were idiots.

 

A few of my mates were at the rovers / barnsley game and said it wasn't heard in the ground but they did hear a few younger Barnsley fans singing such songs before the game. However these lads were shot down by their own fans so fair play to them for that as all hell could have broken loose if it had continued.

Well aware of those scumbags too, as we are all aware of the scum bags who chant about Munich and Hillsborough. I'm sure you have your fare share of scumbags at Chelsea. If you read some of Stan's favorite tweets you will see there are fans from several different teams including Chelsea.
I think you will find the OP didn't call all Barnsley fans scumbags, like you are implying that all Liverpool fans are scumbags from a few twitterers. ****.
