If we sold Kitson, Lawrence, Mokoena and Ben Haim...

We could bring in around £5million in transfer fees and save £100,000 per week! :emoticon-0104-surpr

Seems like a no brainer to me. Bring in cheaper replacements (with the funds generated), maybe a few decent loans like De Laet last season...

Agree with what you are saying Jake, although I thought both Kitson and Ben Haim had good matches yesterday.

Kitson looks a vastly improved player since Big Marko came into the side.

Tad optimistic on the transfer fees but I would do the same. Kitson = £750 000 max. LL = £1000000 max if we are lucky. Moko = Contract up in 6 months £500 000 max and same with Tal Ben Haim.

On the transfer front, If appy is given the green light, then I would go for central creative mid. I'm hearing good things from my Aston Villa supporting cousins about Gary Gardner. Try and hold onto Mattock for the LB position. I don't think we really need to much in all honesty. We have a very solid back 4. All we lack is a creative CM. I seen enough from Futacs to know that he will score more than an handful and Partner him with Varney, we could have 30 goals a season just from them two.

    ONWARD HOOOOOO

I would love to keep Ben Haim, he has been my outstanding player so far this season I think. The only problem is that he is an expensive luxuary :(

As for "Big Marko", I can't believe Cotterill was keeping this gem on the bench! And to have the audacity to claim he would be sending him on loan to a lower league team to gain experience...

According to Cotts, Marko Futacs can't head the ball, is weak and lacking in quality of vision. He may not be anywhere near the finsihed article but yesterday proved all three prognisis wrong. Good luck to Forest is all I can say.

Typical Cotts- doesn't have a clue. Futacs is a classy player. Look at Nottingham Forrest now !! I look forward to seeing Cotterill relegated <laugh>

It makes sense to sell players at the top end of the wage bracket, just so long as they are replaced with players of decent Championship level ability.

What you also have to remember is that transfer fees in the Championship and below and deflated and the Prem is inflated.

Not sure about £1m for Lawrence as he has been injured for a while and Kitson for £750K is never going to happen, rarely scores and hasn't been on much form.

It also depends on the clubs positions financially and their league position <ok>
