I posted before the game after seeing the team and knew it would not go our way. Once again NW cannot work out how to beat a team (esp Norwich). He changed the team to suit them and gave them the advantage. Said before the game that the pace of SWP would be missed and it was. I have always stuck by NW but of late i am putting my head before my Heart. Yes he took us up but due to bad tactics/subs he doesn't seem to be able to do it in the Prem. Many fans think that a few signings will solve the problems, they won't. It's like papering over the cracks. We could sign messi but if he doesn't start him or takes him off when he is the best player on the pitch then what good is he? I am fed up with NW keep saying we were 'conned'. Were we 'conned' because Barton puts his face to another player and got sent off? He needs to stop praising other teams, stop Barton from 'Tweeting' and show him how to pass a ball then how to act like a Professional. Like the rest of you i am p##### off with the result but sadly it goes deeper than that. We have lost what we had from last season and are not playing like a team. We had a backbone, a structure but this year we seem to have under achieving players and a manager who cannot sort it. Stop believing that it will all change because if we cannot beat Norwich at home what chances do we have of beating better teams? I said last week that we were 'in trouble' but after today we are in the ####. Not happy. Ellers
If we end the season as we are now in 17th, I'll be so f*kk'n happy, I'll get drunk as a skunk! I suppose you were watching the Scum today elnino, otherwise you'd have seen Adel and SWP playing some beautiful stuff together, and Ali orchestrating behind them!
No I was there Oslo. SWP didn't start, and wouldn't have come on when he did had Barton stayed on the pitch. With all due respect, Adel and Ali were playing beautiful stuff against Norwich last year too, in the Championship. There's a reason why they were doing it, yet they can't seem to do it against stable prem teams. Ali has 0 change of pace, like most championship CM's, hence why he's struggling this year.
Totally agree with this except mentally I have set 25.2.12 as deadline day. If we are actually in the drop zone after that game, I fear it may be too late for us. In the meantime, though gutted to the point of pain, keep the faith and see what develops with the new signings.
Agree with you there. The month of February is going to be a massive one. Villa (a) Wolves (h) Blackburn (a) and Fulham (h). Realistically, nothing less that 9 points would be satisfactory there.
Ali ain't struggling, he's getting better and better with nearly every game, for example he created our goal today! He's not that quick, and his shooting of late has been sh*t, but the risk is that we will lose him to a bigger club who know an outstanding player when they see one. Same with Adel, though of course he's not consistent, he has been very good the last few games. I reckon a hungry SWP would have come on for Mackie anyway today, Jamie was not having a good game. For me Neil deserves credit for giving Norwich a good go with 10 men, keeping Adel on, and giving Norwich a very hard time most of the 2nd half.
As i put on another thread getting a new manager in at this crucial time in the season would be absolute suicide !! A new manager coming in now wanting different players and coming in with a different style would set us straight back to square 1. Like it or not we have to stick with Neil and hope that his judgement gets us out of this mess.
I agree very strongly with this. If we had a strong No 2, that might work but I do not think we are in that position, are we?
I agree that we shouldn't get rid....YET!! But......would it be SO bad to go back to square 1? Things can't get much worse!!
I don't always agree with all you say Ellers and I'm sure the feeling's mutual.....but that is spot on!!

We didn't beat them at home last season either! - they're a bogey team for us (But your general points taken, Ellers - except that I do think that three good players in, particularly CB's, would make a welcome difference.)
We didn't beat Norwich because NW doesn't know how to. Wrong formations,Bad tactics and silly subs cost us again Yesterday as it did at Carrot Road. Don't go for that 'Bogey team' myth.
I'd say it was Barton and his poor reputation that did for us yesterday, remembering we were 1-0 up when he went off. Warnock's record last season, indeed from the moment he took over as manager, was second to none - even so, Norwich took 4 points off us and we took 1 from them - that's why I said bogey team
I agree that getting rid of the manager at this stage would be suicide but pressure must surely come to get him to change tactics at least. Even those "in Warnock we trust" diehards must now see how his niaive, predictable and frankly League 1 standard tactics are badly letting us down. Yes, our midfield managed to contrive an early lead for us last night but even without the sending off we would have struggled to hold it for 90 minutes. We were at home, we badly needed a win after recent results, we were playing one of the divisions weaker teams and yet NW still lined up with 1 up front against a very physical back 4 and a midfield so deep that HH couldn't even see his support. SWP has really struggled of late but here was the ideal situation for him to make an impact: instead he was left festering on the bench as our 28 man midfield watched the ball go over their heads from Kenny's random punts upfield. And as for taking off Taarabt when we were still chasing the game I can only assume that NW has "must make at least one non-sensical substitution per match" written into his contract. If Delia could have passed Warnock a recipe for handing Norwich 3 more points against us this would have been it. So, while Warnock must see out his season, I for one am no longer prepared to keep quiet about my concerns about his capabilities at this level. Rant not over...
