Ok, Barton probaly shouldnt have been sent off but the camera angles dont do it justice so how can you be sure?
Bradley Johnson makes something of it but nothing like what he was accused of by Warnock.
Warnock dislikes Norwich and Norwich dislike him.
The Norwich players did not "con" the ref. I don't remember any of them asking for Barton to be sent off.
The biggest fuss was made by Warnock who spent the next 15 minutes shouting at the linesman and was lucky not to have been sent off.
The QPR fans tried to get Norwich players in trouble ever opportunity they could. They looked like mini Warnocks throwing their arms up in the air ever 2 minutes.
The QPR fans are pretty terrible anyway. Hence the "we're Norwich City we'll sing on our own."
Shearer and Hansen don't say anything about Norwich players making a fuss of the incident.
Shearer and Hansen say Barton is unlucky to be sent off which i have already stated. Unlucky but still a stupid thing for him to do.
The Norwich management team do not try and persuade the officials and some idiot above has suggested.
The QPR management team were on the referee's case all game.
Joey Barton was asking for trouble by celebrating infront of the fans after the goal. You could argue after everything thats happened with him already this season, the wolves incident springs to mind, that it was karma and he certaintly had it coming.
Warnock suggesting Barton would not try "con" a ref was laughable. He either lying, delusional, doesnt know his own players, or didnt see Newcastle Aresenal.
I think what has really pissed off QPR is that they came into the Premiership expecting to be the big new boy and it hasnt turned out like that.
I think your club has gone about everything the wrong way. Norwich and Swansea have kept the team spirit and QPR have ripped up their team and brought in old players and and big fragile egos.
Johnsons "barton your breath stinks" antics are stupid if not slighty funny.
Their is promise for the R's as your midfield is very strong. You have a good manager. But he is such a douchebag when things dont go his way its cringeworthy.

We have our six points and we wish you well for the rest of the year. Any digs about our club or our toes really wont upset us now so just get on with your season.

O and try work on that vocal support.......you might need it.

Hang on breaking news - a potentially dubious sending off occured in a game of football today. It's never happened to any other team ever and Warnock's QPR are the unluckiest team in the world.

I actually think Johnson was clever in his reaction, he didn't go down because no player would ever go down from any sort of contact - this is true with Barton and Gervinho incident aswell, i'm not on his side over that but tbh when he's not in an R's shirt i don't really care - refs are starting to learn this, he just rubbed his nose as if he'd genuinely been hit which i still don't know, the camera angles are bad but they suggest he wasn't.

Or maybe i'm just looking a bit too much into it

 

I agree with first bit, as for blood, i would defo not expect that, even if he did touch him, it was definetely not that hard, i'd like to see him take an actual headbutt from duncan ferguson, see what he'd do then!

Also, Steve Morison is a twat, our paddock were dishing a bit of abuse yes, but you dont threaten fans, its just idiotic, especially when a man of 6ft 6 height consequently tells him to say that to him and his 7 year old sons face, in which Morison miraculously shuts up.

 

We were incontrol and the better team before you scored with your 1st attempt of the game, we regained control and barton got frustrated (no change there) You cant move your head into another player, just like you can't raise your hand to another player. We all know what Bartons like, sometimes he gets away with it, this time he hasn't. You talk about the Norwich players cheating and whinging? You could have been down to 9 or 8 with some of your dirty lunges after that card as the players, manager and fans lost their head. Warnock moans after every single game, even if you ever win a game, he still puts a few digs into his interviews. It's never his own fault though. Every 50/50 or nothing incident the QPR fans were up in arms expecting something after the red.

Warnock was even slagging us off when we outplayed you at Carrow Road.

Rub of the green, didn't see any QPR fans losing sleep over some of the dubious penalty decisions earlier in our season. Just laughable when Warnock says on live TV that Johnson hit the ground - what a twat!!!

Norwich encouraged the red card when it wasnt one.

But Barton should know better by now and not move his head towards another player like that, he gets singled out enough as it is. Tool.

Yeah coz that's exactly how it works Rich. Why would we be bothered about any "dubious", (quoted because I don't remember them if I saw them or not), penalty decisions in any of your games? Would you have been bothered about any of ours? As fans we'll generally only have an opinion on things that happen in games that matter to us. Enjoy your well-deserved three points.

It's interesting to see the volte face employed by some Canaries over this Barton incident. Yesterday it was all "oh of course he deserved to go" etc. Now after the incident's up on telly it's "the rub of the green".

 

He did and I've said on another thread Holt should be commended for that.

 

Jesus, how long is this debate going to continue for. Barton has a reputation as a thug, especially off the pitch and it is very difficult for officials not to be affected by his background. He did move his head, no contact and johnson took the piss and Barton was inapproporiately sent off.

However, we got a lovely three points. End of story
