This morning I said we shouldn't change much. Now I'm thinking maybe 3 players. We have NO ONE to change the game! Arrggghhhh!
I was at the Aberdeen-Hearts game last Wednesday, and Driver didn`t do much, albeit the wind was howling thus making our usual SPL sexy football almost impossible. He was out with injury for ages, and only recently back. Not sure if would pull up trees at Saints, unfortunately. What was wrong with De Ridder today ?
Steve De Ridder On twitter said: People who are asking; i am struggling a bit with my groin. Absolutely GUTTED 2 day!! We need to stick together now and BOUNCE back!!!
Agreed. Similar was said about Lambert, that he wouldn't be good enough to play in the Championship. That was wrong. Andrew Driver plays for Hearts and the SPL arguably might not be as good as the Championship but it is no worse than L1 surely?
Come on guys - we are not yet desperate - things will improve - put it this way - I would rather be top of the league whilst having a bad run than not - so in a few weeks when this is over we are still in touching distance to progress. I am sure WHAM, Boro , Cardiff will all have further bad spells...
It's lucky that Lambert's red and Guly's injury have happened at a time when we have twelve days until our next league match, because we desperately need at least one striker in before playing Forest, and depending on the severity of Guly's injury, potentially two.
Oh, I was under the entirely wrong impression then. I thought he was some Japanese superstar which was going to cost us like £5 million etc...
Exactly the same as me sotonsaint. Even though youtube could make me look like a word beater at football that finish against the Aussies is pure class! Looks good.
I would prefer us make a statement of intent though and spend the money that is part of our so called 5 year plan and just get it over and done with.
God knows, but I trust their judgement if true as always. Might be good impact sub but surely we'd have to get two strikers in, if he was one of them?
