Lambert was probably getting annoyed that every single game he gets fouled, jumped on, basically strangled and the refs somehow never see it

Not sure what football matches you watch, if you see people lashing out like that 8 times a match.

Lambert's not a dirty player in the slightest. But that deserved punishment, and he was rightly sent off.

I think you're probably right. Only moments earlier he was arguably pushed over in the penalty box, and then there was the dreadful refereeing in the Bristol City game, where Lambert was being fouled over and over again and yet got nothing. I'd be frustrated if I was him too.

first time poster here. What Rickie did was a red card offence no doubt about it however it doesn't stop the fact that El Abd deserved it. Brighton are a footballing disgrace as was the way the game was officiated.

I can't believe how you can say it was blatant. it was under d'urso's nose but he wasn't watching. you can not see it on the footage either god knows how the lineman or referee saw the 'push in the face' which i don't think happened.

The thing I don't understand is, if the ref does see it then surely he has to book El-Abd aswell?

I may have to see the replay but I didn't see Lambert's hand go into El-Abd's face and I was right in front of the incident. It looked like Lambert was just trying to get up but El-Abd started holding his face. Even so, it should have been a free kick to us before the incident.
