See, to me you can see barton go towards johnson a couple of secs before johson turns away. something must of happened in that time for him to turn away, hence the commentry in dazz's quote from sky about spitting!!?? He also sends a nice arm in the direction of whitbread...

 

I can't tell from the clip, but why was there no yellow for the tackle at the start?!

 

Also, i've admitted that we played badly and that i didn't see the incident well. I also said that I believed you didn't play well either and that the referee had a terrible game. What's so wrong about that, it's opinion and you try to tell me that either of the teams today played well.

 

That was after the incident skinman... But i cant see how that was a booking, just an accidental coming together!

Bartons play was over-agressive. The ref chose to send him off to prevent him from causing damage using his child like mind. He'll get no sympathy from anyone. We would have beat you if you'd had barton anyway.

Because we're a better football team.

You can't send someone off for being angry? Barton wasn't sent off for a headbutt, it was 'intent to heabutt' and as I've quoted before, how come we dont get 3 points for intending to win! AND how does he not know Johnson was intending to headbutt too? aswell as the rest of the 20 men on the pitch?

The last bit is opinion.

I'll be honest and say i made provoking comments in the same post but that was straight after the game when i got home, a very bad time for me to post, I posted about an hour later in a much 'calmer' mood

And you deserved that points reduction, the FA let you off because it would have got messy and disrupted the start of the premier league season.
