Anyone else had the ticket office bothering them to prove they are a student? I suspect they have judging by the website.
Anyone with a student ticket, who can't prove they're a student, will have to pay to upgrade to an adult ticket. http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2306267,00.html
Its worth paying the tenner to get the NUS card just for the discount! Wish i did now...... Anyway they have said this for every game so far this season including Norwich away and i have not being asked so far.
Seems they forgot to repeatedly tell the one person it would have benefitted. I got reminded on the phone, emailed links and now another email message. It's not even for me, the ticket's for my brother - penny pinching students ha ha.
I didn't have to pay for my NUS it says it on my standard Student Card, it's just not a full NUS official card but it's a student card which says NUS on it and if they argue otherwise I will slap em.
I've bought a lot of the 16-22 tickets and never had to produce any ID or NUS, there was a group us four lads buying tickets for the Burnley game and not one of us got asked for ID. The only issue you will have is if you buy one the day of the game, then you will have to pay full price. I have found in the last two years that the NUS cards are pretty pointless, I just show my student card (when its advised to have an NUS) and 99% of the time no problem whatsoever. Waste of a tenner, for ã7 more I could be at a city game.
I think the NUS extra card is only worth it if you're buying stuff online. Otherwise your normal student card should be fine.
