I think it is time to face the facts that we are much a club in SERIOUS trouble and likely to be going down if we don't change things around. Let's put us into perspective of how things are going this year compared to other teams. At home, out of the so called teams we would "expect to beat", Bolton (L) Norwich (L) Blackburn (D) Aston Villa (D) WBA (D) Newcastle (D) Sunderland (L). Along with both Mancs (L L) and a win against a NINE man Chelsea side, that home form is completely unacceptable by any teams standards!

Yes we have been averagely successful at best on our travels, notably at Stoke, but lets not forget all the places above are a lot more difficult to go to than what they were at home.

Warnock has brought in players of "premier league pedigree" who are destroying our bank budgets (Barton and Wright-Phillips) who aren't performing at all. Compare them to the Leon Brittain and Scott Sinclair of Swansea, they are two players who definitely have much more to offer at the moment. Now I don't completely blame NW for that, but he is not the correct man to get the best out of them players.

Norwich and Swansea have both played good football this year and invested wisely and played to their strengths. If our strengths are pumping the ball up to a 34 yr old who in NW's words "can't play every game" then we are most certainly going down.

How NW hasn't come under any pressure when our last win was away at Stoke I find completely unbelievable. We are playing the defensive game at home and away, and quite frankly the tactic of "getting in the opponents faces and see if they're up for it" doesn't work in the prem, because simply every team wants it just as much has much more class!

If we're to survive, we need a PREMIER LEAGUE STANDARD centre back (Gabbidon can never be classed as this), a creative midfielder, a PROVEN GOALSCORER (Macheda is not this) and another wide man as despite being a fan of him, Jamie Mackie cannot cut it as a premier league standard winger, when by trade he is a striker.

    SORT IT OUT

Norwich and Swansea had the closed season to organise and plan, buying among others Morison and Graham respectively. NW had little money, was gagged and thought he was about to be sacked by Briatore until the change of ownership about a week before the season began. Have you forgotten this?

It's all irrelevant about the little money he had to spend. With the team we have got (which on paper, wages and premier league experience) is a lot stronger than our competition at the bottom. The difference is the other teams are playing proper football and making themselves hard to beat whilst actually having a clue what to do whilst going forward. This is all purely down to NW, have you forgotten this?!

At the start of the season, we knew we were thin in defence, and lacked a potent striker. DJ's long injury hasn't helped. Warnock should have the chance to put these right.

i dont agree it is time for nw to go but i do agree with some of your points. playing one up front at home each game and hoofing the ball long each time is not and will not work. NW has to shoulder the blame for the rubbish tactics. The first 5 games last season we played football from the back and enjoyed possession. we now boot the ball to HH who has no-one to knock it down to. Sorry but the way the team is set up is wrong. If he does it to fit Taarabt in then we need to change it totally as after the last two games and his display today we cannot drop him. Needs to adapt to a more conventional 442 ?

NW gets the best out of crap players, true. Crap players aren't going to keep us in the division when we need some serious class. NW is not the right man for our team and the needs. We're only looking one way, and I hate to say it it will be down with him.

I agree Windsor Taarabt is by far and away our best player. However we lose him to ACN in January, and then our creative ability falls back down to 0. I've never been NW's biggest fan so of course a lot of what I say is Anti NW, but I don't like the way we play football. In fact, the time when we played best football was under Jim Magilton, it would be great to see us actually playing good football again.

Who do you suggest we replace Neil with? Look my point is there is not many decent manger out there.

All we can do is sit tight and wait and see who we can bring in the transfers window and hopefully we can start to turn things round.

You have to bear in mind Neil does not really have many option in the squad, well now it his chance to start bringing more new faces in which he been saying for the past 3 or 4 month which he is going to do.

He was not really able to do that in the summer.

Although I got to say Norwich and Swansea have not really gone mad in the summer transfers window and doing better than us... maybe it because they are better manage.

A point no-one has mentioned is we were close to pulling off signing Bassong & Bellamy on the last day of the summer window, those two would have made a massive difference at front and back. Nothing will alter the position we're in now, it's from now on Warnock will either be successful of history...

I agree there isn't a great deal of potential with the vacant managers. Mark Hughes (as posted previously) seems to have a bit about him. Alan Curbishley wouldn't be a terrible appointment but admittedly I wouldn't be a huge fan. If we're being risky, Lee Clark at Huddersfield, although that would be a very risky appointment.

Agree our squad is thin, but SWP shouldn't be sitting on the bench. It appears he's sacrificed SWP for Tarbs, why are they both not playing. Faurlin isn't half the player he used to be last year. A fresh face would be welcomed imo

Superhoop agree massively in the sense of Bassong as he would have been a real coup. But we wouldn't of have Ferdinand then who has arguably been our best player this season.

Is there any reason why you have the same nickname as Fernando Torres?

I dont think its time for NW to go just yet. If after he has spent £15million on new players and he still cant get some wins, then yes its time to go. Give him till the end of Jan.

We lambast players like Hall and Bothroyd, and say they can't cut it at this level. Why can't we do the same with the manager? Its obvious he can't handle the prem and I find it difficult to defend the guy. His past deeds won't keep us up. Let NW bring in the players and replace him in Feb, because I'm not convinced he will be able to maximise our potential. Is 17th really befitting of a team containing 8 current/ex internationals plus Ferdinand and Faurlin? Instead of getting the best out of what he had, he just moaned and moaned about the lack of quality such that it became a reason to lose week in week out. He lowered the standards and this is where we are today.

get real? we've played Blackburn, Bolton, Sunderland, Villa, WBA all at home and Norwich (TWICE) and not won any of them. When Wigan (and it is a when not if) go above us, we are 18th. They can do that as soon as tomorrow!
