Well, for one I would have played Healy who is a striker. At the very least I would have put him on for the last 20 minutes or so.

Let me put it this way, we went to Ibrox in January missing eight players and won 2-0.

Last night was a one-off and all Smith was interested in doing was playing for 0-0 and penalties.

As for us being one-sided. We're Celtic fans. What's your excuse ya rocket?

So, did Rangers play a 4-6-0 formation with no-one upfront? Oh................

Rangers spent £4.5m on one player who got injured and was out last night - at the time Walter Smith publically delcared that it was a gamble. 9 of our players combined last night cost less than £4.5m. It's their own fault that they didn't invest the same amount of money as us more widely.

I wouldnt say I was one sided. I have put points accross from both sides on this thread.

I never saw the game in january. Who scored your 2 goals?

sounds like a massive gamble for a club with no money.

you cant say 'it's your own fault' if all your players are injured.

    Must have missed that.

It was Samaras who scored both the goals.

It's your own fault if you haven't got any cover for your players because you spent all your money on one player. We had 5 or 6 players out when we beat them in January.

Bad winners?? Well if that was us being bad winners id like to see the word you'd put in front of losers for you lot??!!!

Bougheras second yellow was soft - but celtic did **** all to get him that red card. he did it all himself. The tackle wasnt needed when he knew he was on a yellow - just like Whitaker might i add!! Commons did him a favour by jumping straight back up. He did win the ball but he didnt need that follow through. Winning the ball isnt always the only important issue anyway. He's been a walking red card in the last 4 old firm games now IMO. His conduct before the yellow card was flashed could have seen the ref give him a straight red

Also celtic did wind Diouf up - but why shouldnt we? We know exactly how he'll react - he should learn to calm down and people would leave him be. But again his red card was deserved. He didnt need to get incolved with the physio nor the ref at the end - or anything else through the game. diouf signing for you lot has backfired spectacularly IMO - its actually helped focus celtic!!

As for Lenny and McCoist - granted Lenny should have been calmer - but McCoist clearly said something. Lenny was all smiles towards him until he whispered in his ear. Both shoudl know better IMO

But bar this how were celtic bad winners?

Rangers lost the plot because they got players sent off and becuase they've just been outlplayed for the 4th old firm game running. Their plan to kick celtic failed

Smith himself summed Rangers mentality up - proclaiming himself happy that they restricted Celtic so much. He didnt even try to get his team to go out to win - and yet you lot are concerned about Lenny!!!!

Don't talk ****e. Lennon was smiling and went to put his arm around McCoist. McCoist is then alleged to have said "Why don't you stay away from our Players" (referring to Joof no doubt). McCoist started it but i certainly don't expect anyone of a Rangers persuasion to believe that however the evidence is there, Lenny's smile turned to fury and it was not for nothing.

<laugh> This thread and the Rangers fans on (and the pretend Liverpool fan).

Rangers stood no chance without a good striker like Jelavic.

If Diouf concentrated on actually playing rather than always moaning, getting involved, playing to the crowd then he might actually influence a game. Couldn't believe the amount of time he stood with his arms outstretched moaning about some innocuous challenge/decision. He starts a lot of pish - if he did barge the physio then he deserves a rant from Mjallby and Lennon - a horrible **** of a player!

Boughearra should be punished for man handling the referee at each booking. Also, his tackle on Hooper was a straight red - dirty bastard!

Lennon went to cuddle McCoist, had a smile on his face and McCoist whispered something and them - sensibly - moved away hand behind his back. Obviously a good wind up that Lennon couldn't take.

Bartley is a good player but a horrible wee **** - again always trying to get involved. Wish big Mjallby had decked him.

Smith has a squad but is scared to use it ... why no Healy at any point? Also, he was proud of the Rangers performance last night <eek>

It will be a different game coem the CIS cip final and the last league game. Rangesr will have a few 1st teamers back, so hopefully "Walter" will go 4-4-2 and have a go.
