Credit to QPR, they made it very difficult in the second half. Though SWP and Taarabt were good and there were some real panicky moments from them. Fortunately, we were patient and I thought the triple substitution made a real difference, as Hoolahan found lots more gaps in the defence and Mori finished nicely. A fortunate sending off, yes, but if you put your head against someone what do you expect? A great result in what was bound to be a difficult match

I would like to also pay praise to drury and lappin again! After how they dominated the left in league one, it looked like they had never stopped playing for near on 1 1/2 years <applause>

Without SWP I think this game would have been a lot more comfortable for Norwich. He was always offering an outlet for your defence, and terrorised us at the back. It seemed like every attack went through him. Personally I thought Taraabt was a little ineffective, but I suppose it only takes a flash of brilliance. Heaven help you though if you lose SWP to injury.

The inevitable.... QPR's Joey Barton on Twitter: "Well feel for the officials, they've been conned. Admitted to me at HT they never saw it. I was pulled back 1st, then kicked 2nd!"

I was always surprised he invested in QPR rather than Norwich. When his F1 outfit moved into Hingham, I remember seeing lots of interviews from him saying that he'd be interested in sponsoring the team, maybe joining the board, etc, so I thought it was odd when he went with QPR. I guess the F1 connections that QPR have through Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore must have paid off.

The first gem from Barton on twitter:

So I head butted him <laugh>

Seriously though..he says "Admitted to me at HT they never saw it" - How believable is that? I am still not convinced they would give a straight red card without seeing something.

I'd be 1st to apologise if I'd reacted. Cannot apologise as I know I've not head butted anyone. Disappointed for the lads and the fans.

I saw it as Barton does so I have no problem with what he says. But constantly tweeting about it isn't going to change the result or people's opinions of you Joey.

Exactly, Thai, they wouldn't send anyone off if they hadn't seen anything.

IF they did send him off after not seeing anything, my tweet to Barton is so very true. "you built your own reputation, and now its biting you back"

was watching some post match analysis here and Garath Southgate mentioned that the 4th official has the power to speak to the ref if an off the ball incident is seen.

The guy is on a different planet, really he is. I am not saying that to annoy the QPR fans - the guy is living in a very different universe to the rest of us!

Indeed it was and by all accounts Villa were terrible! Swansea thumped them. It's been a strange few days in terms of results and this one raised my eyebrows more than a little.

Hate him. He is deliberately provocative on twitter to get a reaction. TV cameras tonight should prove what really happened. A refereee would never give a red card if he or the linesman didn't see it. QPR fans booed Johnson quite a bit after the incident as well!
