I suspect that Larry's fate had been decided before today's game, but it looks like Uncle Ken's hand may be forced by Burnley. I can't see how Grayson can carry on as manager after today's performance.

If he leaves then he should do with our thanks. He brought promotion and stability to the club, worked to a very tight budget and brought in some bargains. He's also Leeds through and through and always came across as a decent guy.

On the negative side it's pretty clear that he isn't motivating the players anymore. Our defence remains poor, despite Grayson having had years to sort it out. We look like a stale team in desperate need of some new direction.

So farewell then, Simon and thanks for all you did for United. But I think you've come as far as you can.

Heard the same! Heard he'd gone before the game! Hence the reason of the astute team sheet! Worst line up ive seen since relegation to league 1

Bloody hell, looks like McCormack has given him a stay of execution!

I still suspect that Bates will get rid of him.

Despite the late rally today, the team just isn't playing up to scratch.

He wouldn't have celebrated like that if he was already going.

But Monster's suggesting it had something to do with the line-up, so he would have to have known.

An own goal and a tap in like that has nothing to do with management skills, and I don't see how it could have saved his neck if it was already on the block. We'll have to wait and see I guess...

But we were battering them all game anyway. Burnley's goal had nothing to do with management skills either.

Maybe so. Devils advocate is easy to play if your on your last legs! "Still" he is the leeds manager until batesy waves his wand!

If i was playing for my job, the last thing i'd do is put young thompson in the middle, alex bruce, in at right back and the shambolic kisnorbo after the way he played at barnsley!

Some of you really need to grow up. We've just won ffs. Yes, we may have been a bit lucky at times. But we created a shed load of chances, & should have won comfortably. A win is a win. Get over yourselves!!

True, but when we have a man advantage and can't make battering them count, before giving away a goal from no where surely points at deep problems in the squad. Lack of confidence due to a poor run etc etc.

I'm not calling for Grayson's head, I'm just saying I think if rumours are to be believed that the decision had already been made, then I don't think this result will have changed much in that respect.

Perhaps Bates will give him an ultimatum - you can keep your job so long as we beat Arsenal 5-0.

we played well, with snodgrass and Lees hopefully back for the next league game, the future could be bright.
will be good to see how teams cope with Snoddy and Andross together.

He's on the radio now & it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere. Looks like more freebies & loans, at best!

not denying that! but michael brown has been our best player for the last 2 games and look where he was sat today! We won today but if any of you want me to sit here and assume a 2-1 win against 10 men is a good performance then i need to get my head checked. I was at barnsley and derby and we were shocking and todays result just papers over the problems.

I'm happy weve won, but im paying **** loads to watch an average team! Never been so angry in my life as i have done in this past month

I have seen a few say Brown has been our best player so to start with Bruce at RB and Brown on the bench alongside the divisions second leading scorer does make you ask questions. I imagine Connelly is finished, does this mean Lichaj returning on loan? If so I hope he comes back the player that left us at the end of last season as he has been out injured for some time.

The prospect of Lichaj and Snodgrass on one side and White and Townsend on the other is good, something we have lacked for too many years.
