Brighton are the dirtiest team in the league. Hopefully that's another fine for them. Cue whinging from Gus.
yes this defeat will hurt more cos it's brighton but let's be honest, we are still top and I am still happy with that. The way I see it is if you are going to have a bad patch then it's best to have it just before the transfer window opens (not just after it closes). So, by that logic, NA & NC will get the transfers in we clearly need to keep our promotion push going. We knew we weren't going to go all season unbeaten at home and we knew we were going to have a bad spell at some point. Coventry will be a good chance to rest the lads and get Forte/Connelly/Martin/Reeves/etc some good game time. Any new arrivals should be in before Leicester IMO. Fingers crossed. Let's look forward and not dwell on the past.........remember "we don't get to high when we win and we don't get too low when we lose".
Hate to admit it, but this is bigger than one game. It's been all last month, and is last two games in particular. Come on, though, we're football fans - we knew this was coming at some point. Reckon it might get worse before it gets better too. Over-reliance on one or two players to get our goals, three tough fixtures up next, with at least one of those players out. At least it happened close to the window. NC got to act quickly, and not hard bargain his way to the final day of the window.
I think the ref thinks he may have got the Lambert decision wrong hence the no penalty decision and red card for Greer
I turned the radio off and heard "red card at Amex" on Final Score, thought we would be down to 9. Anyway I think we need to direct our anger a bit closer to home...maybe at someone who is just over 6'3.
Oh dear. Fonte out and we loose 2 games. What does that say for the defence ? Poor result for us to let in 3 goals. Come on lads keep your heads.

I have tried not to be too negative or too positive (taking a leaf from Nigel's book!) but recently our form has been pretty ropey and this game is the low point of the season so far, especially when you consider that the Seaweed have 12 players out. Hopefully, NA/NC will address it in the January window and get some new faces in.
The luck we got in the home game has certainly been evened out now. Knew it as soon as I saw that walking referee cancer D'Urso was going to be in charge. The bloke is an exceptional ****. I'm sure the whingers will crawl back out of the woodwork for a bit.
yeah as if Martin can be blamed for the defeats? idiot, its the team - martin hasnt made any individual errors so its not just down to fonte being out
