<laugh> I'm just hoping that the entire England team suffers an implosion before the WC.

He was apparently oblivious to it all..........despite photo's published today showing his wife with hands over her mouth in shock as the guard fell to the floor <doh>

I suppose she forgot to mention to him that he'd just ran someone over <laugh>

He's obviously had a few beers & was slightly over the limit, headed home to give him chance to sober up & pass the breath test.

I don't really have anything against the English team itself, just like to laugh at the ****s when they greet like weans when they pumped out on pens.

tbh for me its jealousy, if we'd won in 66 we'd still be banging on about it (we still bring up 67 ffs), the media is a ****ing nightmare though. england won the rwc and the ashes (i favour england in cricket) and it wasnt that bad but every world cup there's about 18months of anticipation and if they do win it cue ****ing years of pish.

its like coming on her after your side lose the OF, only for the rest of time <doh>

I'm not jealous at all. Why should a country with a popualtion 10 times smaller than England try and compete? It's the arrogance of a nation who won one trophy in their own country and have achieved ****-all ever since. Yet EVERY tournament we're told "Best generation of players yet" "England expects..." and all the other tripe.

I enjoy seeing themfail because we have to put up with their pish all the time. You'd think they were Brazil or Germany the way they go on about being successful.

i am, we suck balls and they've got some of the best players in the world <doh>

i know i'm not being rational, but its football so i'm not meant to be. the english media (which i dont think accurately reflects what most fans genuinely feel) goes ape because they get to report on most english players (who are very very good) at club level each wk. englands problem is similar to fance's in that they struggle to play as a team, i'm slightly worried capello might have sorted this.

    International football is gay.

How footballers really give a **** about it? Fine the ****ter ones do as they want to reach that level, but soon as they become regulars it turns them into morons. Alan Shearer threatened to quit international footbal if the FA charged him for that stamp on Lennon <doh> Patriotic my arse.

England have a decent set of players but don;t play together enough to get a team out of them. How many times do Gerrard, Lampard etc pull out of the ****ty games for pathetic reasons? Yet they'll play against the Spains & Brazils!!!

suppose it can be good for your career but i'd struggle to get excited about a friendly against andorra or somewhere, is that even a place? didnt the child catcher live there? i forget.

the whole nationalist thing is starting to pass me by, i dont really get this "serving/playing for your country" pish. the recent scotland stuff made me think about it, whenever i hear some bloke on the radio going "i'd walk across hot coals to play in a scotland jersey", really? its a ****ing game of football you plank. ****ing football.

think this might just be another side effect of becoming dead inside <ok>

    Same here <ok>

I used to watch football games & have a favoured team who;d I'd want to win - it could be Barnet V Grimsby I;d prefer one over the other & cheer them on.

Now I'm getting to the point where I hope nobody wins the WC, a bit like the Grand National that never was <ok>
