    I predict 1-1 and a game played at 100mph.

    Should be a good one.

i can't remember us having a dull game since very early in the season against west brom so it should be pretty much end to end. we always open the game up early on and have a go and we NEVER keep clean sheets!

It'll be 0-0 with the tactical caution of a Serie B match then.

I think most of us know Canaries are looking and doing great atm and Rangers ain't. Championship title aside (significant as may be), Norwich took the lion's share of the points last year and may well do so again this year.

That inevitably leaves Paul Lambert looking bright and Neil Warnock (probably stewing inside) looking and sounding the other thing.

Can't argue with any of that. Question for all of us though is what'll happen today? Rangers have home advantage and NEED the win and Norwich less so. Will that influence the result and leave Warnock (and us Rs) looking and feeling better about things? Who knows? But it'll be great fun finding out!

Let's just hope the best team on the day takes the spoils - and that it's not another case of a ref influenced result eh?

    Afternoon all and HNY.

Have to say this is the first game all season that is a must win, we need to give ourselves a bit more breathing space especially after the week end results. Problem is that Norwich are a bit of a bogey side, still if NW gets the lads to play the game at the right tempo instead of sitting back allowing the opposition to dominate then we stand a chance.

Bound to be goals as neither side can keep a clean sheet for love nor money, just hope we score more!!

    Hi Brix <ok>

Question for all of us though is what'll happen today?

    A very big question.....
QPR with a fairly poor home record so far this season....but our trips to Loftus Road never seem to be easy to call but they are generally close affairs.
Norwich concede at least 1 goal every game this season but QPR are not too hot in midfield to create a significant number of chances.
Our midfield have not looked quite right in the last few games and have been dominated a bit too often for our liking.

Absolutely anything could happen today, I have called 2-2 but hope for 3 points naturally but nothing is taken for granted, we could easily get nothing.

Sorry Brixton disagree about the less so bit about Norwich. We do need to win and with a clean sheet. We have stuttered since we beat Newcastle and have taken 3 points from 12. We are ahead of our points schedule at the moment and doing better than even we anticipated but we need to keep the bandwagon and momentum going. Having said that, we will obviously take a draw as well.
Of course you have your new striker to excite you so you may well be lifted by that. A lot will depend on Paul Lamberts selection again. Consensus seems to be that Morison may be overdue a rest.

Apparently, according to people who are there, Holt and Morison remained on the pitch for several minutes having an in depth discussion after the others had gone inside. Read into that what you want.

    don't agree redruth!

this game is big for us, as all games are, but its massive for the r's. we've given ourselves a cushion that allows us the odd slip up. also, they are the home team and the onus is on them to go out and get the three points against a team they really should look to beat at home if they wish to stay up. i do agree that a point for us would be a welcome result but a clean sheet is completely irrelevant while we continue to score goals at the rate we do. its an issue but its not a big issue in my opinion and i think far too much is being made of it. we would have kept a clean sheet on saturday were it not for a wonder strike!

I think Bennett will play behind the strikers, he came on for wes and played there against wolves and played behind the strikers for brighton a bit.

Very surprised Naughton isn't playing especially with the pace that QPR have down the left

Interesting to see Macheda on the bench. How Hulse has made it is a mystery.

naughton, despite being man of the match on saturday, was violently ill on the pitch and has been suffering for a while from a virus <ok>
