    I'd be delighted with this:
    Krul
    Simpson Williamson Coloccini Santon
    Gutierrez Cabaye Tiote BenArfa
    Best Ba
    or this:
    Krul
    Simpson Williamson Coloccini Santon
    Gutierrez Cabaye Tiote Ferguson
    BenArfa
    Ba
    or this:
    Krul
    Simpson Williamson Coloccini Santon
    Raylor Cabaye Tiote Gutierrez
    Ameobi(Shola) Ba

I've got a feeling that Pardew will play Sammy on the wing, I hope he doesn't for because Sammy is awful, having said that he's still better than Obertan. I'd love to see BenArfa on the wing. When he's on the wing he can use his skill and run at people and whip in crosses for us or he could skilfully dribble inside and score himself. He's ****e playing in the hole. He just goes missing, it's obvious that that isn't his position. He's a winger.

Even when he does **** about he can beat his man, like he proved at Stoke. He's like our Gareth Bale, but getting less game time because of an Ameobi.

No, I said I've seen nothing to suggest Sammy should be ahead of Ferguson.

It's a constant curse. I think the novelty's worn off with Sammy, he's got potential but he's not good enough for us, the Scunny screamer as overhyped him as well.

It's annoying to see a player who is easily good enough to be first team, kept out by an Ameobi. I really don't see how Pardew can choose Sammy over Fergie, especially after how well he did last season. Even on his debut against West Ham, he had their RB in his pocket from the first minute he was on.

What ever we do we have no chance of winning but I'd just like to see some sense in Pardews selections and subs.

I can see Ferguson not living up to the very high expectations of people here, then people giving him the same abuse and writing him off, just like Sammy.

I must have misread your post but I agree with you Ferguson looks a perfect winger and he can defend also.

The difference with Ferguson to Sammy is, we've seen a lot more of him at this level and in none of the games he's played has he looked out of place in almost every aspect. Sammy is far too raw to be considered for the first team and bar that goal against Scunthorpe, I think people would have realised this sooner.

Ferguson actually looks cut out for this level atm (Sammy could be in the future), defo better than him. However people saying he's our best winger may be OTT

The difference is that I've seen Ferguson has fantatsic games in the premier league and not from Sammy.

The problem, as I've spotted in Pardew interviews, is that Pards chooses players based heavily on attitude and effort. If a player remains a model professional with a great attitude, he will be given first-team chances over other players, even if it actually isn't in the best interests of the team.

Once you pick that up from him, you can start to see why both Shola and Sammy get so many opportunities over arguably better players. Here's a thread I made a while back which is about such an interview. It gives a great insight into what Pardew thinks of Ameobi, and why he gets so many opportunities, despite being ****.

Whilst I don't think Sammy is '****', he certainly isn't ready, so to choose him based on having a canny attitude is just detrimental to the team. It's tough, but that's football.

He's the only one who actually has an end product.

If Raylor is fit I'd start him on the right, dont think either Sammy or Ferguson are ready to start against Man U.
