See what? That we're still miles ahead of Liverpool?

we got a great chance of beating city...we're playing well creating good chances and a good, solid defence.

i expect united to show a response after a dismal showing in the last game. the magpies will show their class in the next game! <laugh>

I like to think of myself as a pretty positive poster when it comes to our team but i've noticed that i'm the only person who hasn't voted for a Liverpool win!

Looks like I need to be a bit more positive!

Shoould have a great chance, just such a shame Lucas is out injured as Gerrard is coming back and Suarez is probably going to missing as well. The delivery Gerrard put into Carroll after only being on the pitch for 30 minutes was very encouraging though and should hopefully show the rest of the team what they need to do to get the best out of him.

Bellamy loves scoring against former teams as well, so a cheeky bet on him scoring first might be tempting as well.

I voted for a draw too <whistle> they stuffed us at their place last year and even though we're ten times better than we were then, City have been brutal at times this season. I'll be happy just as long as we give a good account of ourselves in this one, a draw would be a decent result and I'm sure we won't get stuffed by a big score...6-1 for instance...now that would be a serious beating and a humiliation.

Heart says 2-1 win, head says 2-1 loss especially after the Sunderland game. BUT with that pressure they wil either show they are up for it ( 2-1 win) or they are not (2-1 loss or draw).

    Oh indeed.

We are a different proposition at home so I would hope for a home win to get us back on track,Mancini rested quite a few against Sunderland so he could play a first choice team tomorrow so I expect this line up
    Hart
    Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy
    Milner yaya barry
    Balotelli silva
    Aguero
Has Dalglish managed to rotate or has he kept to his best team?

Suarez had a rest with his 1 match ban and Gerrard got some time on the field to get him match fit, we may see both on the field.

    Reina
    Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique
    Spearing
    Downing Adam Gerrard Bellamy
    Suarez

I'd play Carroll. He gave City a good thumping last season.

I think he may play a part depending on the score.

When I voted last night under the radar 12 people voted for a win, 4 for a draw and I was the first and only to go for a loss. <yikes>

This is the sort of game where Lucas' praise has really come to light in the last 18 months, it is against the big teams where he plays his best football. This is our first real test since his absence and Spearing HAS to up his game and play the best game of his life.

If he can play after being brutalised by Tiote and Cabaye on Friday yeah, he must have been black and blue Saturday morning. Thought he had an excellent game Friday <ok> more of the same please Jay.

If he gets the same sort of service from Gerard as he did on Friday night then it's only a matter of time.

    Fingers crossed.
