To lighten the tone a bit on who released what transfer targets information to whom, but what with the audience at the Adele concert in streams throughout and the 'behind-the-scenes' tears of the Military Wives all over the tele, Xmas 2011 will undoubtedly be more memorable for blubbering women rather than blabbering City fans!
An unfortunate turn of phrase for a large lady, but you could also spin it to be City fans as gossipy women. I'm lucky, I don't have any inside knowledge to reveal or betray. The ones that do seem stuck in a cleft stick of hinting what they know without telling anyone. The problem is, you could know every farting detail, but it's meaningless until the deal's struck and even then a players record and ability doesn't always follow him from club to club. Have football fans always been gossipy or has it got worse with footballers being in ivory towers now combined with the access to information the internet brings?
