just think the lad also deserves a mention, done very well considering he hasn't really played at this level and would be harsh to leave him out this tuesday, even if brown makes an unlikely return

    Absolutely.

he looked a bit fearful when he came on, put put in a smashing display.

Credit the lad, maybe, just maybe, he has a future here.

Credit MON for the clean slate as well.

I agree lads. He put in a very good arial challenge to stop Yaya from scoring and held his own throughout the match. A very good performance from him and the rest of the lads ;)

the lad is a canny player and cannot believe he was completely shut out by Brucie.

Would start him on tuesday regardless of who is back from injury

Brown was looking cool calm and collected and to be honest I feared the worst when he had to go off.

I agree with BB Killgallon looked a bit wary at first, but just seemed to grow in stature.
Even when he wasn't winning the headers against Dzeko (sp) he did just enough to put him off.

It's good that he's had this game against top opposition. He didn't look out of place at all, and we now have another option for CD. I'd play him against Wigan - it'll give Brown more mending time and build Kilgallon's confidence.

    Totally agree.

A win at Wigan has to be the clear aim, then we can start looking up.

Would have no qualms about playing him for the next couple of games. Some bloody good clearing headers.

He performed admiarbly. Could have a future, and if he does go, hes advertising himself very well.

My only problem is that if Brown is fit he maybe tempted to play Brown and Killgallon in the middle and put O'Shea back to right back. For me I'd leave Gardiner where he is he looks great there and going forward he gives us so much more than the O'Shea punt! lol

Again the lad has potential, maybe with St Martins help, he will attain that potential.

Chuffed to bits someone started this thread about young Killgallon, as I thought he was tremendous when he came on, a wee bit hesitant at first, but that was to be expected, grew in stature throughout and in the end DZEKO got nothing from the lad.Well done Matt youve given us another option

dont think gardner will want to stay at right back mind, also bardsley deserves to go straight back in when he is fit again imo
