If Gulacsi had simply come for the ball instead of being rooted to his spot then nothing would have gone wrong. A Burnley fan asked me after the game why our goalkeeper lost the ability to move for a few seconds ? Thats the question we all want to know. Jack Hobbs had another good solid game. Basso looked solid and pulled off 2 good saves. Dont think we shall see PG for a while at least.
Sounds like part of the recruitment test to work in the concession stalls back of the East Stand. "You wan de vries wit dat?"
Wonder if were looking at John Fleck at rangers apparntly sheff utd are after him on loan, gifted creative midfielder
DeVries and Banks what a pairing!! That brings back a few memories! Many's the time I've ducked down in anticipation in the East Stand as DeVries prepared to clear the ball downfield!!!!
rumour thats been spread over twitter, the mystery midfielder is Mark Davies of Bolton. That the guy OLM?
That's the scoop then, expect it in the Fail in a couple of days when Buckingham decides to check twitter instead of do his job. Tomorrow they'll be breaking the news that Cameron Stewart was rumoured to be subject to a bid from a mystery club.
I think the original information was that the midfielder in question was in the first team anyway and had been starting, which is why when said transfer goes through, it will be considered a bit of a coup. Heard yesterday and I have to say, it would be a pretty good addition. The winger should also be interesting. Does anybody know if the striker mentioned on here, who has the same initials as that bird who wrote Harry Potter, is already tied up or just a bit of interest?
I meant the first two letters of the initials. He's currently at Borussia Monchengladbach (or he was until he was recalled.) Also, his middle name is Kojo.
I notice Mark Davies played for Leicester on loan from Bolton when Leicester were in League One. If that is the case, are these signings Barmby has identified, or are they the ones Pearson identified before leaving? It just seems too much of a coincidence?
