Yeah it was. Can't really blame the linesman though - Ji drifted back onside literally 0.3 (probably) seconds after ball was played and it was only when they paused it that you could tell. It was one of those where the last defender and the striker cross over. I think Barry was the last man, and he just stood frozen to the penalty spot looking at the linesman as Ji took it past Hart and rolled it in. If the dick had kept running back to goal, he could have got there quite easily to block it or at least force a better shot, cos Ji had to adjust and get his balance briefly before shooting.
That, and if City had taken a couple of their 20 odd chances the game would have been sewn up by then! Not that I'm complaining of course...

I don't think you'll hear many Utd fans claiming Blackburn were lucky or favoured by the ref yesterday. Although it was quite a soft penalty - a more experienced CB like Rio, Terry or Kompany would have gotten away with dragging Samba down by doing it more subtly. The one time Berb shows more effort than was needed!
Would like City to lose but reckon it'll be a draw. Surely $hitty won't go 3 games without scoring though (?)
Not really, I can't stand the thought of you lot thinking you've helped us in any way whatsoever. Like I said, a draw will will more than suffice in denting City's confidence a little and if we're to win the league I'd just as soon we do it by winning our games rather than hoping our rivals lose.
