I came away from Old Trafford yesterday thinking we had thrown away a golden opportunity to put some pressure on city by opening up a 3 point gap. Having watched their game today, we might just have seen the first signs of city feeling the pressure, that's 2 defeats and a draw in their last three away games. Tuesday night should give us a clearer picture and looserpool could face a backlash or dent city's armour even further. One thing is for sure though, we can't afford any more crap performances like yesterday and lets hope Fergie and Rooney have "kissed and made up" before Wednesday night !! Oh and a Happy New Year to United fans everywhere.
Yeah but the ABUs will claim and have claimed that SAF played a weakened team against rovers due to his disrespect.
One thing you cant question much is Alex Ferguson......hes dropped, hell even sold bigger players than Rooney but the United juggarnaut has never stopped...why fine a player who is a multi millionaire?? what does he learn from that? to you manchester united is a team you support and want to see win week in week out understandbly...but for Fergie, Manchester United is an institution to be honest he will lose another match if need be but no player will get ahead of themselves or the better of him.....and to be frank no united fan can complain
That story looks like a crock of ****e to me. How convenient that the other two players at this "dinner" were Evans, who is injured, and Gibson, who is almost never picked and should be on his way out in Jan.
Could be true regardless of the other two players. Doesn't matter as you said earlier with all due respect to Rovers, utd should be beating them at home.
