I think they realised Maiga was ****e. But your idea would make sense.

This is the same kind of maths that let us all down in January...
I reckon we'll sign one centre back and its 50/50 as to whether or not we sell tiote. I don't think selling Tiote would have an impact on our incomings though...:(

Obviously thats another option but with Carr's precise scouting over such a long period of time I don't think they'd make such rash decision to pull out. I think they would trust Carr whatever.

    QPR?

I'm really not that fussed if we get Samba or not. He's not impressed that much beyond being the best of a bad bunch for Blackburn. Although saying that, i'd rather we get him than Ridgewell!

Yeah, real life doesn't work like football manager unfortunately where you get most of your transfer income back to spend.

I'd rather we bought a striker.

8m is pretty lean but they have a plan they are clearly sticking to. It'll depend on whether loans are an option, because that would raise the possiblity of more than one coming in. If we are only looking to buy which is our normal way nowadays, then I think we can only expect a centre back. You can't get a centre back and the left back we need for 8m unless we find a bargain or two. A striker will definetly not be happening now. That's a 1 year search for a striker complete! Pretty poor whichever way you look at it on the boards part. Nevermind we'll just have to lump that and hope Leon and Benni can link well. We really do need one quite urgently also but there is no doubt centre back and left back are above it in the pecking order.
