MON is a miracle worker. 3 wins from 5 is just incredible could and should have been 4 if not for a shocking decision against Everton. If we can bring in a proper striker this month we could be in for a very good second half of the season. 7th isn't beyond us if we continue like this.

Today was amazing. Cattermole was superb. Can't wait to get home now and watch it again

    Happy new year everybody.

10 points from 5 games, thats amzing, top 4 target them sort of point hauls!!!

I think top half could be a great goal and then lets just see this year after we break into it!

Wigan is only 2 days away and its another hard hard game with so many out, the rollercoaster is certainly going up at the moment :)

Catts was immense, he showed what he's truly capable of today. Sess apart from his finishing was unreal again, we HAVE to hold on to him. Kilgallon looked comfortable alongside O'shea who looks a mile better in the middle. Couldn't have asked for more from Gardner Colback and Mingolet they just got on with the task without fuss. McClean looks a player too.

Got to take the confidence from this into the Wigan game.

... but don't forget today's goal was offside so overall it's about right. It really annoys me when people talk about luck and dogy decisions in football coz, generally speaking, it is true they even themselves out in the end. Anyways, taking nothing away from the lads, brilliant performance today. I'm finally enjoying being a sunderland fan again! :D
