I can. Anzhi pay a fortune for average players, got to hope they pull the same stunt here. Plus PSG want Chamakh for 10 million, not the 6 that someone has listed.
With the sales of Arshavin, Bendtner and Chamakh, I'd buy Marvin Martin and go for another striker, somebody like Moussa Sow or Papiss Cisse. Having said that, I've been playing an awful lot of Football Manager recently so this could be unrealistic.
I might be wrong, but I've got a feeling nobody will be leaving Arsenal in January. I think we'll make a couple of loan signings and that's it.
PNE - totally agree except for Rosicky - he is one of very few players we have that can actually run with the ball and he gets our tempo up whenever he plays. Get rid of Vela too and Diaby .. waste of space !! Walcott is teetering on the edge for me .....
It's not as easy as that though. January is a notoriously difficult time to bring in quality players on permanent deals. I'm not sure which striker would be available for us to go for.
I agree the pressure on RVP will be immense. If he stays fit, he can handle it though. Ideally it would be good to sign a striker in Jan, but I just think it will be difficult to find the right player at the right price, who is available.
Definately get rid of chamakh arshavin and squillaci, also players like almunia and manonne but we do need a back-up keeper so keep fabrianski and i would also keep rosicky because he is a great player but if we get rid of djourou then we do need to bring in another defender. We have so many players that are not good enough but wenger seems intent on bringing in loan players, so i guess we will have to wait until august before we get rid of all of these players. Also we will have joel campbell in august and oxo and ryo will hopefully be breaking into the team and hopefully coquelin frimpong aneke and afobe will get some game time.
