How where they the better side? Man City were pressing them back all game. They defended well and deserved a point though.
They took the chance when it mattered though and man city have got lots of decisions there way when they shouldn't have.
They defended really well, and created a couple of very good chances, but by the end Man City were camped in their half! They deserve the win for defending so well though.
Even as a fellow Newcastle supporter that comes across to me as pretty pathetic and just sour grapes to be honest. Their effort, application and organisation deserved to get them some luck as they were brilliant today. Wish our players would have applied themselves like that in their last few matches. Well played Sunderland, great day for the fans.
I disagree, I thought Sunderland were the better team, got their tactics spot on and Bendtner and Sessegnon should have had them comfortably ahead

They had a few chances, but overall Man City controlled that game.
And Don't bother talking about sour grapes, they made a fair few articles talking about how lucky we were at the start of the season and how we were in a false position.
That match seriously reminds me of our 12 point lead season. Heartbreaking injury time losses. History repeating?!
